Wylie Crippen

Wylie A. Crippen, age 70, of Mound City, formerly of Mounds, died at his home Sunday at 3:55p.m.

He leaves six daughters, Mrs. Olive Freeman and Mrs. Almeda Wyatt of Birmingham, Ala. Mrs. Geraldine Cull of San Angelo, TX, Mrs. Pauline Smith of San Francisco, Mrs. Gertrude Luzan of Detroit, and Mrs. Lorene Coffman of Cairo; two sons, Howard of Cairo and Harold of Mounds; one brother, O. H. Crippen of Mounds and other relatives.

The body is at the Ryan Funeral Home in Mounds where friends may call.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2p.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Verlee Eakers officiating.

Interment will be in the Thistlewood Cemetery.
