Beatrice M. Dillow
Beatrice M. Dillow, age 85 of West Dundee died Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Kindred Hospital in Sycamore. She was born on May 22, 1921 in Wetaug, IL. Beatrice was the daughter of the late Herman Cecil and Mina (nee Lingle) Keller. On July 14, 1940 she married Waymen E. Dillow in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was a resident of the Dundee area for almost 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elgin. Beatrice was a former 16 year employee of the Illinois Bell Telephone Co. where she worked as telephone operator. She also was co-owner and operator, along with her husband, of Dillow's Auto Service in East Dundee for many years. Survivors include her husband of 66 years; Waymen E. Dillow; their son, Normen (the late Betty Lou) Dillow of Cary; a grandson, Shawn Dillow of Cary; a granddaughter, Chantel Dillow of Rockford; and her sisters, Ruby Youngblood of Tennessee; Londa (Forrest) Pender of Centralia and Faye Bankert of Dongola, IL. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Inez Kesler; a daughter-in-law, Betty Lou Dillow; and her sisters, Colleen and Joy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, 1735 W. Highland Avenue in Elgin. Burial will follow in the Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Elgin. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 7, 2007 from 2-6 p.m. in the Miller Funeral Home, West Dundee and on Tuesday in the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
