Mary Louise Baker Ecker

Mary Louise Baker Ecker, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2003 in Rock Hill, SC. 

Mary was born in Ullin, IL and had lived in Jacksonville for over 50 years, retiring as a secretary with Eaton Corporation/Cutler Hammer after many years of service. 

She was a member of the Oakwood Garden Circle and was of the Baptist faith. 

She was predeceased by her husband, J. Harold Ecker, a brother, Robert L. Baker, and sister, Ludene Stoner. 

Survivors include: 2 sons, Ronald (Cathy) Ecker, of Clover, SC, Billy D. (Judy) Ecker, of Marietta, GA; 3 sisters, Arlene Shirley, of Kingsland, GA, Jane Robertson and Peggy Waddington, both of Jacksonville; 2 brothers, Jim Baker, of Satsuma, FL and Bill Baker, of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Leslie Ecker Dykes, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Jennifer Ecker Courson, of MacClenny, FL, Richard A. Player, of Jacksonville, Kimberly D. Player, of Clover, SC, Billy J. Ecker, of Tuscaloosa, AL, Shelley Ecker Fox, of Acworth, GA; 15 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held 11am, Friday, December 5th in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Darrel Murray, officiating. 

The interment will follow in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Thursday (TODAY) at the funeral home.
