Edna B. Gustafson, 86, of Kuttawa, Ky., died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at Hill Top Nursing Home in Kuttawa.

She was born May 27, 1916, in Grand Chain, Ill., daughter of John B. and Sarah Rhodes Benoit. She married Glenn F. Gustafson, who died in 1993.

Edna was a retired telephone operator. She was formerly of Cairo.

Survivors include four sisters, Elsie Dauymere, Ruth Oliver and Delores Iman, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, Stella Lipe of Las Vegas, Nev.; two stepsons, Darrell Gustafson of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Glenn Gustafson of Valparaiso, Ind.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mound City National Cemetery. The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry will officiate.

Barkett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
