Henry Redden Hogendobler

Henry Redden Hogendobler, 97, Overland Park, KS, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2004, at Menorah Hospital.

 Henry was born on September 16, 1907, in Villa Ridge, IL. 

He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1930 with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. His career took him from Toledo, OH, to Prairie Village, KS, working for companies including Owens Corning Fiberglass, Gustin-Bacon and Black and Veatch. 

His beloved wife Ruth preceded him in death in 1988. 

Henry is survived by his two daughters, Linda Schmidt, Lacey, WA, and Marilyn Shaw, who resides with her husband Jerry in Overland Park, and his four grandchildren, Michael Henry Shaw (Susan), Karen Shaw Lott (Jeff), Laurie Schmidt Davis (Kurt), Amy Schmidt Coady (Martin), all residing in Kansas. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Nicolaus Davis, Alexandria Davis, Thomas Henry Davis, Kaitlyn Shaw, and Jessica Lott. 

Memorial service will be held Monday, October 18 at 2 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park.
