Jerry "Sonny" Holderfield

Jerry "Sonny" Holderfield, 56, of Ullin died at 4:45a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 1999 at his home.

He was born May 27, 1942 in Ullin to Charles Lincoln and Beulah Geneva (JAMESON) Holderfield. He married Terri McHarry on December 28, 1982.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ullin. He had been a truck driver and was an avid hunter and fisherman and had coached girls softball.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Holderfield of Ullin; two sons, Jerry Shane of Ullin and Keith Allen Holderfield of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Jennifer Keller of Dongola and Kimberly Petty of Franklin, Tenn.; one step-son, Todd Root of Lick Creek; one step-daughter Lisa Doctorman of Ullin; 11 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Virginia Kesler.

Funeral services were held at 11a.m. Friday, February 12, 1999, at the Cain Funeral Home in Ullin with Rev. Richard Martin officiating.

Interment will be in the Ullin City Cemetery.
