Mary L. Herrington

HERRINGTON, Mary L. "Lucy" - Of Flint, age 83, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.

 Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, May 4, 2002 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Mr. Mark S. Aites officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. 

Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Visitation 1-4 and 6-8PM Friday at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Herrington was born in Ullin, Illinois on August 9, 1918 and was a resident of Flint most of her life. She married Trueman Herrington on September 25, 1937 in LaGrange, Indiana. 

She was a member of Swartz Creek Church of Christ. 

Surviving are husband T.W. "Pete"; 2 daughters, Sondra K. and husband Charles Creasey, Harriet S. and husband Kenneth Linkowski, all of Grand Blanc; 5 grandchildren, Rob and wife Karen Creasey of Phoenix, Arizona, John and wife Stephanie Creasey of Grand Blanc, Bobo and wife Paige Linkowski of Nashville, Tennessee; Paul Linkowski of Ypsilanti, Michigan; Jill and husband Allen Fraser of Shreveport, Louisiana; 5 great-grandchildren, Robby and Elizabeth Creasey, John Watson Creasey, Conner Linkowski and Mia Grace Fraser; many nieces and nephews; special niece, Sharon and husband Terry Garfield. 

She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
