Thomas Richard House, age 86, of Chicago and formerly of Lockport. Born in Mounds, IL June 18, 1921, passed away Monday, January 14, 2008 at St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights, IL.

Devoted husband to Addie House; cherished father of Tommy (Shirley) House, Rhonda Bailey, Rev. Richard (Robbie) House, Lorna House and Brian House; also survived by their mother, Eliza House; proud grandfather to Tamekeyo, Carlos, Tanya, Kaleah, Brenton, Rishawn, Ryan, Brittney, Brian, Rakelle and Jory; great-grandfather to Brooklyn, Mikayla, Allysa, Jaylah, Gabrielle and Brenton Jr.; loving step-father to Earnest (Pauline) Reed, Jerome (Cynthia) Reed, Carolyn (Joseph) Johnson and Damita (Wilbur) Palmer; and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Gertrude; and sister, Marion Cleary.

Visitation Sunday, January 20, 2008, 2-4 pm at the funeral home and 5-7 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church, 200 Rev. Walton Dr., Lockport, IL. Service at 7 pm Pastor Benjamin Holmes officiating. Interment Monday, January 21, 2008, 10 am at Mt. Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont, IL.
