Dorothy Warshaw Lowenstein

Dorothy Lowenstein, 97, died Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Memphis Jewish Home. 

She was born in Ullin, IL on January 3, 1910 to the late Joseph and Fannie Berfield Warshaw.

 She moved to Joyner, AR and Crawfordsville, AR before finally moving to Memphis. 

The widow of Sigmund Lowenstein, she was an accomplished pianist and she and her husband were both classical musicians of the highest caliber. During their life together, they enjoyed traveling and made an extensive trip around the world. 

She is survived by her cousin, Marjorie Liebman. 

She touched many friends with her kind, gentle way.
