Frances T. Lukesh

 Frances T. Lukesh, 88, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 3:25 A.M. at Fountains Nursing Care Center in Marion.

Frances was born November 6, 1917 to Frank and Stephanie (Murowski) Shanders in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She married John J. Lukesh on June 14, 1943 in Wilkes-Barre, PA and together they shared over 59 years of marriage until his death on September 6, 2002.

Frances was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion.

Frances is survived by: Two Daughters and Son-in laws; Susan and William Hess, Sr. of Marion
Janet and Ron Megan of Sunrise, FL
Six Grandchildren; Elizabeth and Kevin Rabun of Charleston, WV
Edward and Crystal Megan of Orlando, FL William and Jamie Hess, Jr. of Herrin Matthew Hess of Marion
Nicholas Hess of Marion Jessica Hess of Marion

Preceded by: Parents, 4 Brothers, 2 Sisters

A funeral mass will be Monday, November 21, 2005 at 10 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion with Father Richard Mohr officiating. Burial will follow in Mounds National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home on Monday at 8:00 A.M.

For those who prefer memorials may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
