Floyd William Milford

Floyd William Milford, formerly of Rosewood Heights, IL, passed away at 3:50 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2003 at Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL. 

He was born April 25, 1913 in Pulaski, IL to the late William Jefferson and Mary Ann (Lackey) Milford. 

He retired in 1975 as a superintendent with Mobile Oil Corporation. He married Naomi L. (Hobson) Milford on April 22, 1936 in Wood River, IL and she preceded him in death on June 17, 1999. 

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, James Milford of Miami, Gary and Pat Milford of Miami; four grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Milford, Jonathan Dale Milford, Lisa Renee Milford, Jeffrey Dale Milford; six great grandchildren, Nicholas, Patrick, Bradley, Zachary, Reagan, and Taylor. 

In addition to his parents and beloved wife, he was preceded in death by six sisters.

 Visitation will be at Elias-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory in Bethalto, IL, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2003, where services will be on Monday, May 12, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Newcom officiating. 

Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, IL.
