Jesse L. Mize, Sr.



Jesse L. Mize, Sr., age 87 of Mounds died Feb. 19, 1982 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY.  He was retired from the Illinois Central Railroad. 

He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Freda Wilburn of Mounds, Mrs. Mary Larrison of South Bend, IN., Mrs. Lillian Bagby of Urbandale, Mrs. Erma Nell Essex of Villa Ridge; sons, Barry Mize of South Bend, IN., Orval Mize of Niles, MI., Bill Mize of Little Rock, AR., and Jesse L. Mize, Jr. of Mounds; 30 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Mounds with the Rev. F. M. Speakman officiating.  Interment was made in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
