Lorene Miller

Mrs. Lorene Miller, age 86, died Thursday, August 1, 1996 at Hurley Medical Center.

 Mrs. Miller now lies in state in the Chapel of the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed after 2 PM today until 8 PM this evening, after which she will be taken to Algee Memorial Chapel, 4100 Sycamore, Cairo, IL, 62914, (618) 734-4200, where funeral service will be Wednesday, August 7, 1996. 

Mrs. Lorene Miller was born May 6, 1910 in Leighs, Alabama, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Exeline (Scott) Ingram. 

She was a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Pulaski, IL, where she served as pianist and Sunday School teacher. 

She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Irene Curb; 9 grandchildren, Vivian (Palmer) Duncan, Wannetta Cabine, all of Flint, Thomas Pettigrew, Jr., Bruce Pettigrew, Eileen (Stanley) Mills, Ramona (Frank) Lawrence, Veronica (Marcus) Daniels, Gwendolyn Pettigrew, all of Lima, OH, and Anthony Pettigrew of Irving, TX; 2 sisters, Mildred McClain of East St. Louis, IL, and Murline Foster of Madison, IL; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by 2 daughters, 1 son, parents, and 7 sisters and brothers.
