Frances E. McHarry

Frances E. McHarry, of Flint, age 88, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. 

Funeral service will be held 11am, Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. 

Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to The American Diabetes Association or Genesys Hospice.

 Visitation 2-4pm and 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Frances was born in Mounds, Illinois on October 29, 1918, and moved to Flint from Illinois in 1943. 

She married John H. McHarry on April 23, 1937 in Vienna, Illinois and he preceded her in death on July 28, 2007. 

She was a member of Flint Chapter No. 138 O.E.S. Mrs. McHarry was employed by Greenley's Inc, as a cashier, for 25 years retiring in 1978. 

Surviving are daughter, Linda Delores and husband Marlo Amtsbuechler of Petoskey; 3 granddaughters, Laura Amtsbuechler and husband Robert DiVincenzo of Lake Orion, Lisa K. and husband Todd Grieb of Rochester Hills, Sarah L. Chandler of West Bloomfield; 4 great-grandchildren, Trevor, Connor and Hannah Grieb and Grace Stuart; sister, Viola Moore of MS; many nieces and nephews.
