Margaret Ann McMullen

Margaret Ann McMullen, age 64, was called home to her Lord and Savior after an extended battle with cancer on January 8, 2006 at her home with her family nearby. 

Margaret was born in Karnak, IL to Raymond Canada and Lois (Smith) Canada, their seventh of eight children. 

She graduated in 1959 from Karnak High School, located in Karnak, IL as valedictorian of her class. She moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan shortly after graduation. 

Margaret was married to the love of her life, Richard, September 4, 1964 and he survives. They shared a very blessed, but brief 41 years together. 

She was employed by St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Clinical Laboratory, as an executive secretary for 27 years. 

She gave birth to three children: Douglas (of Britton), Kelli (deceased), and Dene (of Ypsilanti). 

Her parents, three brothers, and one daughter preceded her in death. 

Margaret's life is celebrated by her husband, children, three grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, extended family, and many friends. 

She loved the Lord and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Saline where she enjoyed singing in the choir. 

Visitation will be held at Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline on Wednesday January 11, 2006 from 4 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 12, 2006 also at Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home beginning at 11 am. Burial will follow at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan. 

There will be a fellowship meal at the Tri-County Sportsmans League, located at 8640 Moon Rd, Saline.
