Vincent Narbutas, 83, of Anna died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at Illinois Veterans Home in Anna.

He was born May 16, 1919, in Cicero, Ill., son of Vincent and Mary Kazunas Narbutas.

He was a retired high school teacher.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a niece, Sue Ort of Norwalk, Iowa; two nephews, Michael Narbutas of Chicago and Vincent Narbutas of Minneapolis, Minn.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 10 a.m. Friday.

Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill. The Rev. Clifford Heil will officiate.
