Homer Lee Price
Homer Lee Price, 80, of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, June 5. 2001, while under the loving care of his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Josephine Price; two sons, Joseph P. Price of Tampa; and Roger L. Price of Cape Girardeau, MO.; four daughters, Sandra K. Ashcraft of Wickliffe, Kentucky; Loretta Inglis of Atlanta, Ga.; Rosanne Price of Tampa; and Elizabeth Koenig of Tampa; 15 grandchildren and several great-and great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Price was born in Mounds, Illinois and moved with his family to Tampa in 1957. He was a retired metal fabricator and spent most of his career with Plant City Steel. He was a member of First Reformed Church of Tampa. Mr. Price was a 32nd degree Mason, a past Master of the Masonic Lodge in Cairo Illinois, a Knights Templer, and a lifetime member of the Shriners. Mr. Price was a World War II veteran and served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2001 at First Reformed Church of Tampa, 8283 Hillsboro Avenue West. The family wishes to thank LifePath Hospice of Tampa for their compassion and help and request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to LifePath Hospice of Tampa.
