Louis Summers, 65, of Cairo died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at his home.

He was born May 15, 1937, son of Rufus and Myrtle Berry Summers.

He was a construction worker many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Vernice Summers, and a sister, Annie Lattin of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Friends may call at Massie Funeral Home in Cairo after 11 a.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Dr. Grady Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Memorial Park in Mounds, Ill.
