Cleastas Wade

Cleatas Wade of North Chicago passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2002 at home. She was born on May 21, 1952 in Ullin, IL to Tony and Delores Mackins.

She was employed at the V.A. Medical Center in North Chicago for 15 years and was recently employed as a bus driver for Waukegan Schools.

She was married to Lonnie Wade Sr. in 1970 to this union four children were born.

She is survived by her children Lonnie, Demond, and Shachawa Wade of North Chicago and Ronnie (Dorothy) Wade of Zion and two stepchildren Quinten Williams and Therese Wade of North Chicago; nine grandchildren Demetrius White, Daniel Davis, Ronaldo Wilhelmi, Tyshin Wilhelmi, Marques Taylor, Jatonya Wade, Angel Kitchens, and Arejohnnae Stone; her mother Delores Mackins and three brothers Glenn Mackins, Wayne (LaKay) Mackins of North Chicago, Torrance (Helen) Mackins of MS; five sisters Gilda, Antoinette, Darlene Mackins, Ivette Mayers of North Chicago, Twyla (Dale) King of Norfolk, VA and a host of special aunts and uncles whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father Tony Mackins, sister Cynthia Mackins, nephew David Mackins, three uncles William David Clemons, Oliver Adams, and Clarke Mackins, two aunts Lynell Wells and Marie Triplett, grandparents Eugene and Latisha Mackins, and David and Ethel Clemons.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2002 at Jesus Name Apostolic Church, 208 Lake St., Waukegan.
