Georgia J. Walterhouse

Georgia J. Walterhouse of Davison, age 78, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. 

A funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., Davison, Pastor Steve Stahlhut officiating. Burial will follow in Davison Cemetery. 

Visitation will be 11am - 9pm Tuesday and 10am until the time of the service on Wednesday. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or Trinity Lutheran Church. 

Georgia was born October 22, 1926 in Mounds IL, daughter of the late Floyd and Mattie (McCombs) Taylor. 

Georgia was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Davison VFW Post #4087. She loved poetry, animals and nature. She is survived by: her brother, Ronald (Connie) Taylor; step-daughter, Cheryl (Walterhouse) Hillier; step-son-in-law, Dave Hillier; grandchildren, Shannon (Jeff) Hillier and Jeff Hillier; great-grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy and Dylan; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Cleo (Bob) Vohwinkle, Sue Taylor and Marian Taylor; brother-in-law, Max Galbraith; Aunt Rena. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Neil Walterhouse and Orval Galbraith; sister-in-law, Reta McAra; brother-in-law, Ken Barr; nephew, Kenny Barr; brothers, Thomas (Maxine) Taylor and Howard Taylor; and parents-in-law, Floyd (Bernice) Walterhouse. Georgia wanted her family to remember her many wonderful friends and neighbors. A Special Thanks to Fred and Marilyn, Mark and Cindy.
