Georgia L. Wilson
Georgia L. Wilson, age 71. Passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at her late residence. Born June 8, 1933 in Mound City, IL. She was the daughter of Lee Roy and Ada (nee Mercer) Costellia and was raised in Mound City before moving to Northern Illinois in 1954. She worked in the area for many years with the special population and was a member of several professional groups. Georgia served on several boards in and around the various communities, including School Board 365U in the Romeoville/Bolingbrook areas. Survived by her husband of 54 years, Harold G. Wilson of Joliet; her mother, Ada (nee Mercer) Costellia; one son, Gary (Claudia) Wilson; one daughter, Gail (Eugene) Matsui; five grandchildren, Jessica (Keith) Carlton, Anna, Ryan, Michael and Krista; one great grandchild, Grant Carlton; two sisters, Wilma (the late Donald) Thomas of Benton, KY and Pat (Bill) Crysler of Ft. Myers, FL; one brother, Lee and special sister-in-law, Donna Costellia of Lake St. Louis, MO; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her father, Lee Roy Costellia; and infant boy and girl twins. Funeral services for Georgia L. Wilson will be Monday, April 25, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated, or do something nice for someone you love.
