Margaret K. White, 85, of Mounds died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 16, 1918, at Capa, Ill., daughter of Joseph and Martha Atnip Bailey. She and Elmer White were married; he died in 1990.

Margaret was employed at the Anna Mental Health Center before her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mounds.

Survivors include daughter Sandra Prim of Mounds; son Larry White of Elba, Ala.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Private graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at Mound City National Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert McCoy officiating. Burial will follow.
