Local items - The many friends will learn with pain of the death of the wife of Dr. George Koehler, late of this city. She was living with her son George in Mt. Palatine and enjoying reasonable health. On Monday morning of last week she was as well as usual and apparently in as good health as ever. Sitting down in a chair, she suddenly fell asleep and that sleep was the sleep of death. She leaves a husband and three grown children, Albright, George P., and Josephine bereft of a good wife and mother. Funeral was conducted by the Lutheran pastor. Mrs. Koehler was a very worthy lady, highly respected here and loved by all who knew her.
