William H. Adams
A young man came to the Maxey House, in this city, on Thursday evening last, suffering from an attack of bilious diarrhea, of which he died this morning. He registered his name as William H. Adams. He was a young man, from 25 to 30 years of age, about six feet high, fair complexion, light auburn hair. His clothing consisted of a black cloth frock coat, check drilling pants, and black satin west. He was delirious during the greater portion of the time; but spoke apparently, rationally at times, of being acquainted with Messrs. Whitecraft, Cloyd, and Milton Bridges, (with the latter gentleman he spoke of passing the coming winter,) all citizens, we believe, of Sangamon county. He received prompt medical attendance, and all the kindness that the family of Mr. Maxey could bestow.
