• Mr. Plummer's Drug Store (Post office was also located there)
• New two story building - lower story occupied by Mr. Edwards Hardware Store
• Foster's Hotel Building
• Mr. B. F. Thompson's Office (Member State Legislature)
• Tailor and Shoe Shop
• Dry Goods Store of Mr. H. Phenix & Co. (formerly of Pleasant Green)
• Mr. Patt's Hardward Store
• Shoe Factory (In building formerly occupied as a general store by John Freeman)
• Dr. W. T. Hall office also located in shoe factory building.

• Public School
• Frank Doyle's Public Hall (with billiard hall in the lower part) (These first two buildings were located on what was known as "Market Square")

• Office of Mr. Haven, Chief Engineer of the Dixon, Peoria and Hannibal Railroad.
