Barbara was born in Ermanshausen, Franken Bavaria, Germany on February 25, 1836 to Lionhardt Arnold and Christine
Deichmann.
She married John Frederick Dietz on January 14, 1856 in Dutch Hill, St. Clair Co. Barbara died of Scarlet Fever
on February 3, 1873 in Lenzburg Township. She was buried in Dutch Hill Cemetery, St. Clair Co. She was preceded
in death by a son George Dietz and daughter Maria Dora Dietz.
She was survived by her husband and 3 sons, Frederick, Phillip and William Dietz of Lenzburg and 1 daughter Catherine
Pauline Dietz of Lenzburg Township.
George Dietz
George was the son of John Frederick Dietz and Barbara Arnold.
He was born in 1856 in Lenzburg Township and died in 1860 in Lenzburg Township of Cholera.
Maria Dora Dietz
Maria was the daughter of John Frederick Dietz and Barbara Arnold.
She died of scarlet fever the same day that her mother died. Maria was born October 17, 1858 in Lenzburg Township
and died September 12, 1873. She is buried in Dutch Hill Cemetery.
Catherine Pauline Dietz
Catherine was the daughter of John Frederick Dietz and Barbara Arnold.
She was born November 22, 1872 in Lenzburg Township and died August 5, 1873 in Lenzburg Township. She is buried
in Dutch Hill Cemetery.
