Freddy Snow - contributed by Joe Ginger / Alice Horner The photo of the full Putnam monument shows the eagle at the top. ] The tombstone is just off the Lincoln Boulevard entrance of the cemetery and the pollution over the years certainly is destroying the cannon balls on the monument. I don't recall ever seeing this monument as a child, in fact I don't think I've ever been in this part of City Cemetery, so I don't know what it looked like when I was a child.
