Mary K. BAST of Delaware street has entered suit for divorce against George K. Bast, now living at Mendota. The couple were married in May, 1890, and separated on July 26, 1904, at which time, she alleges, the defendant struck her and threw her out of the home. At various times he abused her unmercifully and was an habitual drinker of intoxication liquor. They are the parents of four children and the plaintiff asks the court for the possession of these. Ruby FOX/ Orin FOX -Averring non-support of herself and child, cruelty and other statutory grounds, Mrs. Ruby Fox, has instituted divorce proceedings against her husband Orin Fox. The declaration sets forth that the couple were married on December 26, 1916 at Dwight, Ill., and resided together until November 15, when it is alleged by the oratrix that she was forced to leave her home. Mrs. Fox declares that her husband mistreated her, that he bear her and has threatened to dispose of personal property and take their child away from her. An injunction was requested and granted which restraints him from disposing of any of his goods or from interfering with the child during the dependency of the suit. Francine and Leroy LENZ - A decree of divorce was entered by Judge Harry E. Wheat today in the case of Franceine Lenz vs. LeRoy Lenz. The bill was filed by Attorney James K. Cavanaugh. (Contributed by Karen Fyock - dated April 13, 1945)

Bertha E. MOODY was given a decree in her action against Leonard Moody. She alleged cruelty. She was given the right to resume her maiden name of Bertha Shafer. Filed by Att. Bert Snow. (Journal Standard 28 July 1939)

Roberta O'HAVER vs. Benny O'Haver. The couple was married Feb. 3, 1940. (From Karen Fyock 12 May 1945)

Burdette RADERS: 5 July 1938 (Freeport Journal) - Circuit Judge Albert H. Manus on Saturday granted to Burdette Raders a divorce from his wife Anna Raders, Attorney James K. Carvanaugh represented the plaintiff who charged desertion. The couple was married March 2, 1931 at Oregon IL.

Agnes THEILE, Lena was granted a divorce from Frank Theile. He was charged with drukedness. The couple had been married 25 years. (Journal Standard 28 July 1939)

Marguerettee and Ralph YARGER - An action for divorce has been filed in circuit court by Attorney William S. Wilson. The couple was married August 28, 1921. An injunction is also asked to restrain the defendant from disposing of personal property. (Contributed by Karen Fyock)
