The Last of the Season
The Ball Game tomorrow will be for the Benefit of Members of the Home Team.
The Dubuque Nine will Play May be the last Game of the Season.

Tomorrow’s ball game will probably be the last of the season, and as the receipts of the day will be divided among the players of the home team there should be a large attendance.

Freeport never had a better ball team then the present one, and local fans should show how much they appreciate the work of the home players by attending tomorrows game

Manager Smith has been an untiring worker, and the record made by the team is one citizen’s who takes an interest in the national game should feel proud of. Everywhere all over this section the Freeport’s are recognized as first class ball player. And when an opportunity is offered to show how much the boys are appreciated at home advantage should be taken of it.

The Dubuque Team played here a few weeks ago and the game was of the best of the season.
