The remains were buried in the city cemetery on Monday. On the following day Mr. Hobelman came to Mr. Thos. Bowers, the city sexton, and stated that he was tortured with doublts [doubts] as to the fact of his wife being really dead at the time of her burial, and earnestly requested that the remains might be disinterred. His request was complied with, and the body taken from the grave and deposited in the building provided for such purpose, where it remained over night, a person being employed to watch with the corpse. There were, however, no indications of any kind found to justify Mr. Hobelman’s fears, and the remains were again interred next day.

DOLLY LYDIA HUDELSON , 78, 437 Walnut Street, died Tuesday afternoon, September 24, 1968 at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital of a short illness. She was born October 4, 1889 at Freeport, Ill. She came to the Twin Falls area 58 years ago and married Homer Hudelson on September 15, 1917 in Twin Falls.
(Alice Horner’s note: I am fairly certain she is the person who started life named Lydia Pauline Moellenberndt, daughter of Conrad August and Henrietta (Winter) Moellenberndt. I have a source stating her baptism date was October 4, 1885, which if true makes her date of birth incorrect. I believe she changed her date of birth when she married her second husband, which was possible to do in an era before Social Security, especially when the person was living far from where she was born. She also became known as Dolly Lydia, rather than Lydia Pauline, when she married Homer Hudelson. She had married John D. Samels August 30, 1902 in Stephenson County, Illinois and they had five children: William, Leonard, George, Mary, and Orville. They moved to Twin Falls, Idaho around 1910 and sometime afterwards, possibly in 1911 or 1912, they divorced.)
They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary last September 15. She lived south of Filer for five years and south of Twin Falls for 41 years before moving to the address on Walnut Street five years ago. Survivors include her husband; a granddaughter, Mrs. Donald (Jerry Ann) Deidrich, Twin Falls, and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the White Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Harold Nye of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
