Jeremiah Henry Fye, the son of Conrad and Sarah (Rumbarger) was born 18 August 1852 in Loran Township, Stephenson Co. and died 25 September 1929 in Stephenson County. He was married to Augusta Miche 30 May 1876 in Stephenson Co. She was born 11 Oct 1855 in Germany- died 28 June 1930. Augusta was the daughter of Johann H. W. and Louisa Mich. Johann and Louisa, along with their family, arrived in the US on 20 Jun 1867 on the "Schlosser" from Prussia leaving from Bremen. Johan was a farmer, aged 48, his wife Louisa was 32, with them were Wilhelm, aged 20, Ernestine, aged 18, Justus, aged 14, Augusta, aged 9, Caroline, aged 7 and Carl, aged 2. Jeremiah and his wife Augusta were the parents of two chldren - Edward Josiah Fye (24 Sep 1878-14 Feb 1894) and Harriet Caroline Fye. Harriet Caroline Fye, daughter of Jeremiah and Augusta (Miche) Fye, was born 02 May 1883 in Loran Twp. and was married 1 December 1909 in Stephenson Co to Paul Henry Schnell who was born 18 May 1879 in Germany - died 30 September 1953 In Stephenson Co. Harriet and Paul have at least 4 children.
