June 26, 1853; married in Winslow, Stephenson County, Ill., Dec. 25, 1873 to Almon Marshall Taylor, son of Alonzo, born, Gilsum, N.H., Oct. 19, 1808, died March 10, 1896 and Dianna (Barber) Taylor, died in 1867. He is a farmer and resides in Thomson, Ill. (1899) Children born in Thomson, Il.: A. Minnie Mabel, b. June 6, 1875 m. Amos A. Burr son of Aaron and Eliza Ann (Lewis) Burr on Dec. 30, 1897. He enlisted in the war with Spain, in the Sixth Illinois Vol., and was a corporal. B. Clifton Hinds. b. August 14. 1878 C. Alfred Joseph b. Jan. 10, 1882 D. Ida Verona b. March 5, 1884 E. Archie Raymond b. Nov. 29, 1885 2). Ada Marion Hinds was born in Manchester, N. H. on May 18, 1855; married in Winslow, Ill., Jan. 1, 1880 to Alexander Fye, son of John Fye. They reside in Marquette, Neb., where he carried on a farm (1899). Children, the first six born in Aurora, Ill.: A. Clara M. b. Dec. 4, 1880 (m. Willis, lived in Zion, Il.) B. Otterbeine B.
