Mrs. Owen Graham, 89, of 1282 W. Lincoln Blvd., died in her home Tuesday noon after a four weeks illness. The former Margaret Powers was born in Cashel, Ireland, June 17, 1866, the daughter of Michael and Mary Powers. She came to the United States when 16 years of age. She was married to Owen Graham. Her husband died May 5, 1937. Two sons and three brothers also died previously. Survivors include two daughters and a son, Margaret and Gertrude at home; and Leo F., Chicago. There are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One brother also survives, James Powers, Freeport. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Mary's Guild. Services will be in the Schwarz Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Friday with a Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church at 9:30 a.m. The Rt. Rev. C. F. Conley will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
