Bequeaith Cemetery Clean-up
Al and Carole Martin,  hard at work cleaning up in November and December 2006!

A lot of weeds Al had to cut down. All his hard works pays off!

WOW! Nice Job!

Jan. 11, 2007 Report from Carole Martin

The last time we were at Bequenaith Cemetery, over a week ago, we knocked down all the weeds.
But still had a great deal of debris that needed to be cleaned up.

Gary Allen, a Pekin Realtor, had promised to send someone down there to do some work but we did not know when.
Today, we went to the cemetery to do some work and found it greatly improved from the way it was when we left it.
Mr. Allen's crew had cut down the remaining bushes, a tree and the weed stubble. And had cleaned up a pile of brush that we had left.
They also did a great deal of raking. I called Mr. Allen to thank him and he offered more help if we need it.

This is the view of the cemetery as of Jan. 11, 2007!
