Hardscrabble Cemetery
Deer Creek Township

Active but only Groomed.
In need of restoration!

This small, rural  cemetery has at least 2 Civil War burials
and at least one 18th century birth date.


 

From Morton, IL., travel about 5.5 miles East on U.S. Route 150.
From Route 150, on a curve, the Tazewell County Road angles SE.
Turn right and travel .6 of a mile to Wiegand Rd.
Turn right (South) on Wiegand and travel .8 of a mile to Hardscrabble Cemetery.
The cemetery sits on the East side of Wiegand Rd.

Many stones are down on the ground and need attention before they are completely buried.
