Turn Right ( North) at the T. (There is no road sign giving the name of the road)
The Hawkins Cemetery will be on the left (West) side of the road about 100 feet from the T.
You must crawl under the barbed wire fence. We got permission from the farmer just North of the cemetery to enter the land.

The cemetery is in extremely poor condition.
Not a single stone standing. Most of the stones are broken, either by vandals or grazing livestock.

Note: According to work done by Malcom Watson in 1972, the Hawkins Cemetery was in poor shape more than 30 years ago. Mr. Watson recorded 3 headstones from the Jackson Baldwin Family and noted the Jackson Baldwin was a hired hand for the Hawkins Family. Mr. Watson made note of the fact that all stones in the cemetery were down and broken.
Mr. Watson recorded 4 stones from the Hawkins family in 1972 and made note of one other family member (Elinora) who is buried here.
Elinora did not have a stone but he learned of her from the Hawkins Family.
When we visited the cemetery, we found the Jackson Baldwin headstone but that was the only one of the Baldwin family that we could read. There was one stone that was was illegible but probably was that of William Baldwin.
We found the stones of William D., Mary A., Emma and Ida Hawkins.
The Mary A. Hawkins stone was partially buried and the Ida Hawkins stone was broken up with the top half partially buried.
