BURKS, STEVE
Denver CO- Steve A Burks 48 of Denver Colorado, formerly of Pekin Illinois, passed away Thursday October 14 2010 at his home after a bout with cancer.  He was born March 29 1962 in Pekin to Alvin and Joyce Williams Burks.  Surviving are one daughter, Heather Burks, and one son, Ryan Burks, both at home; and his mother and father, Joyce and Alvin Burks, a brother, Craig Burks, and a sister, Sandy Burks, all in Colorado.  Steve also leaves his best friend since childhood, Dave Heberer of Manito, who he had kept in touch with since moving to Colorado in the 1980s.  Steve worked for Rainbo Bread Bakery in Commerce City Colorado, last working in July 2009.  Steve was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears and Illini fan.  He never forgot his roots.  A Celebration of Life service took place October 19 in Colorado.  Tabor Funeral Home in Brighton Colorado was in charge of arrangements.  Memorial Contributions may be made to his family to help with costs, in care of Craig Burks, 22602 E. HINTZ, HAROLD
Marquette Heights IL- Harold Hintz 67 of Marquette Heights, passed away at 11:50 pm Wednesday November 10 2010 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  Harold was born July 22 1943 in Chesaning Michigan to Harold W and Dorothy Adams Hintz.  He married Marcia Lloyd October 18 1964 in Springfield.  She survives.  Also surviving are his son, Brian (Sarah) Hintz of Groveland; his daughter, Tina (Curtis) Minkel of Pekin; his grandchildren, Nathan, Mason, Lauren, Jake and Cassie; one sister, Joyce Derencourt in Florida; one stepsister, Donna (Ken) Urbain of Brant, Micigan and one stepbrother, Lynn Kenneth Bishop in Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Betty Prince, and one stepbrother, Eugene Rivette.  Harold worked as a machinist in Caterpillar Inc. for more than 30 years, retiring in 2007.  He was a Boy Scout leader in Marquette Heights for 14 years, was an original member of the Marquette Heights Men's Club and was a baseball coach for Marquette Heights Recreational League for 15 years.  Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday November 15 at Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin.  the Rev. DOERING, WILLIAM
East Peoria IL- William "Bill" Doering 68 of East Peoria, passed away Wednesday November 10 2010 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  He was born November 11 1941 to Bill and Virginia Doering of Peoria.  He was married Debbie M Baker in Pekin on October 01 1977.  She survives, along with one daughter, Suzanne (Michael) Vanderham of East Peoria; and one stepson, Jeffery (Patty) McGuire of Astoria.  He is also survived by a sister, Irene; a brother, Kay; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Robert Doering-Jolly.  He worked for Caterpillar Inc for 30 years in both the shop and office at the Morton facility before retiring in 1993.  Earlier in his life, Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting, along with years of camping in Avon IL.  A scripture service will be at 10 am Monday November 15 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Father Patrick O'Neal will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2 to 5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.  Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in Browning IL.

JANSSEN, AUDREY
Pekin IL- Audrey S Janssen 77 of 1030 Audubon Drive, passed away at 3:36 pm Friday November 12 2010 at Pekin Manor.  Born December 10 1932 in Trenton New Jersey to Edwin T and Rae (Shropshire) Gordon, she married Lowell Fredric Janssen on August 13, 1955 in Phoenix Arizona. He died April 16 1994 in Peora.   She also was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marilyn Kreps.  Surviving are three sons, Gregory L (Patricia) Janssen of dunlap, Randall L (Tami) Janssen of Pekin and Rick L Janssen of Salt Lake City, Utah; four grandchildren, Carlos Caceres of Houston Texas, Katelyn Janssen of Pekin, Derek Janssen of Dunlap and Lauren Janssen of Pekin, and one great-granddaughter Isabella Caceres of Houston Texas.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pekin.  Audrey worked in the lab of Caterpillar Inc in East Peoria, retiring in 1995 after 22 years of service.  She later served as a board member of the Caterpillar Retirees Club. She also was a member of the Pekin Community Concert Association and the United Auto Workers Local 974 in East Peoria.  Her funeral will be at 10 am Tuesday November 16, 2010 at Preston Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev. Mark Friday will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday.  Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. KOCH, NANCY
Tremont IL- Nancy A. Koch 72 of Tremont, passed away at 6:30 am Sunday November 14 at her home.  She was born December 24 1937 in Tremont to William and Rosina Pflederer Beutel. She married James M Koch on June 18 1967 and he passed away on February 19 1981.  She later married Cleo J Koch on March 19 1989 and he survives.  Also surviving are her children, Rachel A (Jim) Sauder, Nathan D (Sandi) Koch and Nelson J (Mary) Koch, and 15 grandchildren, all of Tremont, her stepchildren, Sheryl (David) Wingert of Atlanta GA, Mary Lou (Herb) Fritz of Durham NC, Gary (Marlee) Koch of Vashon WA and C. John (Dawn) Koch of Evanston IL; eight stepgrandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; four brothers, David (Eunice) Beutel, Alvin (Carol) Beutel and Fred (Jeannette) Beutel, all of Tremont, and Phillip (Darlene) Beutel of New Bern NC; three sisters, Helen (Roy) Zimmerman of El Paso IL, Ruth (Vernon) Koch of Tremont and Annette (Ernest) Schambach of Marengo IL; and one foster sister, Barbara Moser of Mollala OR.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother in law; Mary and Lee Eisenmann; and her foster brother-in-law, Raymond Moser.  Nancy was a loving wife, mother and doting grandmother.  She was a caring homemaker and loved serving her family and others.  She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Tremont, where her funeral will be at 10 am Wednesday November 17 2010.  Ministers of the church will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall, 601 S Chestnut Street, Tremont, and from 9 to 9:45 am Wednesday at the church.  Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Tremont.  Davis Mortuary in Tremont is in charge of arrangements.  Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Timber Ridge or Apostolic Christian Restmor, both in Morton.

ROOTS, MERVIN
Pekin IL- Mervin L Roots 72 of Pekin, passed away at 4:19 am Sunday November 14 2010 at Pekin Hospital.  Born October 26 1938 in Canton to Julian W and Virginia Greene Roots, he married Eloise F Hodgson on September 30 1988 in Pekin.  She survives.  Also surviving are one son, Randall (Diane) of Pekin; one daughter, Donna (Mark) Morger of South Pekin, one stepson Frank W Wiseman of Pekin; four grandchildren, Sheena (Chris) Curto, Robert LaRue (Tyne) Roots, and Jamie Roots, all of Pekin, and Malloree Reaves of South Pekin; three great-granddaughters, Adrianna McDonald and Baylee and Tessa Donaldson; one brother, Jerry (Twila) Roots of Missouri; and two sisters, Neva Farson and Loretta Biggs, both of Pekin.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.  He served his country in the United States Army.  Melvin worked as a welder for Keystone Steel and Wire for 38 1/2 years, retiring in 2000.  He also worked as an auctioneer in the area for over 30 years.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1869 in Pekin, the Pekin Amvets Post 235 and the Tazewell County Farm Bureau.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan.  He also liked Harley Davison motorcycles and NASCAR.  His funeral will be at 10 am Wednesday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev. Gary L Ford will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin.  Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin, where military rites will be provided by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.  Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.

ROSEN, THOMAS
East Peoria IL- Thomas M Rosen 62 of East Peoria IL, died at 7 am Saturday November 13 2010 while he was doing what he loved to do - duck hunting with his son.  Born on January 26 1948 to C.J. and Esther Plummer Rosen, he married Cheryl C Reeves on December 28 2002 in Nashville Tennessee.  She survives.  Also surviving are his father, C.J. Rosen of East Peoria; two sons, Jeffry Rosen and Joseph Rosen, both of East Peoria IL; two sisters, Barbara Ann (David) Swearingen of East Peoria and Dr. Joyce (Dr Ross) Hemphill of Madison Wisconsin; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Johnston, and one stepson, Eric Johnston, both of Springfield Missouri; three grandchildren, Dillon, Mya and Benjamin; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death byhis motehr and one son, Michael Rosen.  Tom worked in the Common Components Group at Caterpillar Tractor Co in Mossville for over 40 years, retiring in April of 2010.  He was on the A Team with the Caterpillar Social Activity Group.  Tom loved to hunt and fish, especially at the marshall County Fish and Wildlife Area.  Tom was a member of Ducks Unlimited.  The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday November 16 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria.  Private graveside services will be held at oak Grove Bible Church Cemetery in Groveland.  Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or Rosen Wildlife Fund C/O CEFCU.

SAYLES, MARIAN
Pekin IL- Marian Dolphine Sayles 87 of 2220 State Street, Pekin, passed away at 1:18 am Sunday November 14 2010 at Timbercreek Rehab and Health Care in Pekin.  Born October 01 1923 in Carroll County Tennessee to Thomas and Ernestine Morgan Chandler, she married Clyde Edgar Sayles on October 04, 1936 in Paris Tennessee.  He died January 29 1998 in Peoria.  She also was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Betty Brown and Paula Lewis; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Sayles; one brother; and two sisters.  Survivnig are four sons, Don (Marie) Sayles of Crossville Tennessee, Larry Sayles, Dwight "Duke" (Teresa) Sayles and Jeffery (Brenda) Sayles, all of Pekin; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rachel Williams of Huntingdon Tennessee and Marty Tyler of Hopedale.  Marian worked as a cashier for many years at Unclaimed Freight Store and Vogel's, both in Pekin.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, doing word searches and especially being with her family.  Her funeral will be at 2 pm Wednesday November 17 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home and Crematory in Pekin, where visitation will be one hour before the funeral.  Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Central Illinois Chapter, 606 W Glen Ave., Peoria IL 61614.

Washington IL- Joyce Ruth Jackson, 79, of Washington passed away at home Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010. She was born Nov. 22, 1930, in East Peoria, Ill., to Otto and Laura Meischner. She was one of 13 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, LeRoy D. Jackson. They married March 26, 1950. Also surviving are three daughters, one son, one daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Joyce worked at Sears Roebuck & Co. for 25 years and then she went on to co-own Tanglewood Furniture in Peoria, Ill. During her retirement, she enjoyed going to bingo and spending time with her family. Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society . MILLER, AUDREY
Delavan IL- Audrey Ann Miller 74 of Delavan, passed away at 1:55 am Sunday November 14 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  She was born April 16 1936 in Pekin, the daughter of John and Frances Dorothy Hofreiter Fisher.  She married Allan R Miller on July 10 1955 in Green Valley. He survives.  Also surviving are one son, Robert A Miller of Centrailia; two daughters Julie (Robert) O'Donnel of Delavan and Jeanne (David) McDonald of Leechburg, PA; six grandchildren, Daniel (Lee-Ann), Corrie, Kim and Rob O'Donnell, and Amanda and Andrew McDonald; and four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Alan Fisher of Green Valley.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister-in-law, Coralee Fisher; and a brother-in-law, Claus A Miller.  Audrey worked as a legal secretary for almost 30 years, the last 21 years for Culbertson, Culbertson adn Allen Law Firm in Delavan.  She was a member of Prairie Land Christian Church in Hartsburg and Delavan American Legion Auxillary.  Her funeral will be at 10 am Thursday November 17 at Davis Mortuary in Delavan.  The Rev. William Allen Payne, the Rev. Jon Hamilton and the Rev. BEAN, NERVA
East Peoria IL-Nerva Lou Bean, 96, of East Peoria died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010, at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin. She was born June 29, 1914, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to Henry and Mealy Mercer Painter. She married Cleburne Bean on June 10, 1934, in Tompkinsville, Ky. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1971. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Doyle and Richard Bean and one daughter, Sandra McFarland. Surviving are one son, Louis Donald Bean of Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Ruby Russell and Robbie Meadows, both of Glendale, Arizona; and two daughters-in-law, Barbara Bean of Groveland and Wanda Bean of Germantown Hills. Nerva had worked at J.C. Penney Co. in Peoria for several years and was a member of the East Peoria Church of Christ. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she had served two times as Worthy Matron of Creve Coeur Chapter 946 in Peoria. She also served as a Sentinel at the state level and was an instructor for Washington Chapter 115. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, with the Rev. Zach Cox officiating. HOLLIS, SCOTT
Mackinaw IL-  Scott Robert Hollis, 44, of 15622 Larimore Drive passed away at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday, February 06, 2008, in the emergency room (more here) at Pekin Hospital. He was born February 08, 1963, in Peoria to Robert and Beverly Thomas Hollis. He married Janice A. Solner on December 30, 1988, in Pekin. Surviving are his wife; mother and stepfather, Beverly and Jerry Potts of Pekin; two sons, Matthew Hollis and Andrew Hollis, both of Mackinaw; his grandfather, Ralph Thomas of Manito; one stepbrother, Bradley (Dora) Potts of Pekin; one stepsister, Lisa (Jim) Hartman of Glasford; and a stepgrandmother, Fannie Dearth of Pekin. He was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandmother. Scott was a truck driver for Prairie Farms Dairy in Peoria for the past 17 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1984 to 1986. Scott was a member and co-treasurer of Ducks Unlimited Manito Chapter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals fan. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Kevin A. North Pekin IL- Services for Pam S. Newcomb, 50, of North Pekin will be at noon Saturday at Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. The Rev. Terry Edele will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Chapel Mausoleum at Glendale Memorial Gardens. She was pronounced dead at 5:15 pm Monday, September 23, 2002, at Pekin Hospital. She died after her vehicle crashed into a creek in Pekin. Born August 21, 1952, in Pekin to George and Opal Martin Johnson, she married Larry J. Newcomb on March 21, 1970, in Pekin. Surviving are her mother of Pekin; one daughter, Tammy Newcomb-Chapman of Clearwater, Fla.; one son, Larry A. of Pekin; one sister, Sandy Davis of Manito; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father. She was a caregiver for Circle of Life in Peoria and later was an independent caregiver, last working Monday. MAYROSE, JOSEPHINE
Josephine M. Mayrose 81, of rural Green Valley, passed away (in accident) at 12:42 pm Wednesday, September 29, 2010, in rural Green Valley. She was born November 04, 1928, in Pekin, to Donald and Margaret Flairty Burns. She married Clarence W. Mayrose on December 24, 1949, in Worthington, Indiana. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Debra (Randy) Brim of Green Valley; and two grandchildren, Jason "JR" Brim and Amy Jo (Brad) Strubhar. Josephine was an active member of Green Valley First Presbyterian Church and its Women's Society. She served many years as an election judge for Malone Township and was a member of the Golden Girls Club. She was also a volunteer for the Green Valley Food Pantry. She and her husband farmed in the Green Valley area their entire married life. Her funeral will be at 11 am Saturday, October 02, at First Presbyterian Church in Green Valley. The Rev. CLEARY, MELISA
Mackinaw - MeLisa Dee Cleary, 30, of Mackinaw passed away on Monday, June 09, 2008, in Logan County, Ill. Born November 15, 1977, in Washington, a daughter of Michael and Jean Gerard, she married Daniel K. Cleary on September 06, 2005, in Newport Beach, Calif. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kaitlyn Cleary and Chloe Cleary, both at home; one son, Jacob Cleary at home; her mother of Eureka; and two sisters, Brandy Gerard and Felicia Ellis, both of Washington. She was preceded in death by her father. MeLisa was self-employed and operated her own day care center in Mackinaw. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. NELSON, GLEN
Pekin IL- Glen E "Ozzie" Nelson 91 of Pekin, passed away Monday November 15, 2010 at Pekin Hospital.  He was born February 04, 1919 in Blandinsville to Jess and Blanche Hamm Nelson.  He married Mildred Stacy December 01 1945 in Peoria.  She preceded him in death on April 30 1996.  He also was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard Nelson, and a brother Lee Nelson.  He is survived by his son Donald W (Sandra) Nelson of Pekin; daughters, Marsha A (Dennis) Morris of Groveland and Sharon K (David) Moore of Pekin; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Glen served in the US Army and was a truck driver for Growmark, retiring in 1980.  He enjoyed fishing, golfing and mushroom hunting.  Glen never met a stranger.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends  Cremation was accorded and no services are planned.  Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Plymouth Illinois.  The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co., Pekin/Peoria is in charge of arrangements.

Pekin IL- Marilyn J Byer 77 of 1508 South Capitol Street., Passed away at 8:18 am Tuesday November 16 2010 at her home, surrounded by her family.  Born May 17 1933 in Fonda Iowa to Elmer and Clora Reinhold Smith, she married Joseph E Byer in Pekin.  Surviving are her husband and one son, James Byer of Pekin.  She was perceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Joseph Byer; and one sister, Carolyn Clift.  A Homemaker, she had worked at Soldwedel's Dairy in Pekin and Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville.  She was a member of St. John's (Sand Prairie) Lutheran Church in rural Green Valley and participated in the church prayer chain.  Marilyn enjoyed gardening and caring for her dogs in past years. Her funeral will be at 10:30 am Friday November 19 at St John's Lutheran Church, 13443 Townline Road, Green Valley.  The Rev. Thomas R Wenndt will officiate. Washington IL-Lillian P. Burroughs, 90, of Morton, formerly of Washington, died at 2:25 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton. She was born April 23, 1920, in Wenona, Ill., to John D. and Ella (Stenzel) Nadler. She married James Burroughs on March 22, 1941, in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death in June 1988. She also was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Surviving are three daughters, Judy (Richard) Koch of Morton, Susan Spar of Novato, Calif., and Rebecca (Dan) Holler of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six grandchildren, Duane (Katie) Koch of Eureka, Jamie (Joe) Copeland of Carmel, Ind., Leslie Gray of Morton, Chad Koch of Carmel, Ind., Jason (Tara) Koch of Lavalle, Wis., and Niki Holler of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 10 great-grandchildren, Noah, Jonah, Kayla, Carson, Jaxon, Mason, Preston, Adalyn, Jacob and Baron; and one sister, Rosemarie (Marvin) Ahlstrom of Westfield, Wis. Lillian was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington, where a funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, with Fr. Joseph Donton officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria. Washington IL-Pamela K. Swanson, 56, of Washington died at 8:54 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born November 10, 1954, in Bloomington to Albert L. and Bonna J. Stevens Hulett. Surviving are her father, Albert of Washington; two sons, Kevin (Pam) Swanson of Fredericksburg, Va., and Jeremy (Lori) Swanson of Washington; sister, Linda Hulett of Peoria; and seven grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Caitlyn, Alex, Ryan, Emma and Abby. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonna, and sister, Gloria. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bayview Baptist Church in Washington, where visitation will be one hour prior. Pekin IL- Jo Ann Seagraves 74 of 2028 Westgate Drive Apartment 19 in Pekin, passed away at 4:40 am Wednesday November 17  2010 at her residence.  She was born December 26 1935 in Pekin to George and Martha Nelson Sidell.  Her parents preceded her in death.  Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Seagraves of Pekin; four sons, John Norris, Jerry Norris and Steve Seagraves, all of Pekin, and Mike Norris in North Dakota; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchidlren; and five brotehrs, George (Beverly) Sidell Jr. of Sunnyland, and William (Linda) Sidell, Jerry (Barbara) Sidell, Mike Sidell and Kenny (Susan) Sidell all of Pekin.  Jo Ann worked for many years as a housekeeper for Holiday Inn for Pekin.  She later retired from Hallmark House in Pekin in 1995 after many years of service.  She enjoyed socializing over a cup of coffee and playing poker machines.  Her funeral will be at 10:30 am Saturday November 20 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pekin IL- Joan E Percefull 81 of Pekin, passed away Tuesday November 16 2010 at Pekin Manor. She was born January 01 1929 in Pekin to John and Ethel Genda Helman.  She married Richard F Percefull on April 12 1947 in Peoria.  He preceded her in death on August 01, 2006.  She also was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Lois Hutchison. She is survived by her children:  David (Carol) Perceful of Layfayette Indiana, LaVerne (Rodney) Robb of Lincoln, Scott (Pam) Percefull of Pekin, Beth Ann (Michael) Jones of St Peters Missouri, and Ted (Jenn Rettke) Percefull of Pekin; siblings Betty Maquet of Pekin, Lorraine (Bill) Comstock of Pekin and John (Deanie) Helman of Pekin. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Heather, Amy, Kyle, Brett, Sherri, Mandee, Katie, Austin, Brandon, Emily, Matthew, Benjamin, Jake, Olivia, Lainee Lacee; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Joan was a homemaker and a mom to everyone.  Cremation was accorded and a graveside service will be at 11:30 am Saturday November 20 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin with a celebration of life to follow from 1 to 4 pm at Pekin Moose Lodge. Pekin IL- Robert Gordon Smith 56 of 109 Thrush Avenue Pekin, passed away at 8 am Thursday November 18 2010 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born December 13 1953 in St Louis Missouri to William and Dorothy Rabenstarff Smith, he married Florence Hughes on September 09 1975 in Georgia, she survives.  Also surviving are three daughters, Amy Smith and Tonya Smith, both of Peoria, and Tina Smith of Pekin; two brothers; Ricky (Paula) Smith of Taylorville and John Smith of Decatur; four sisters, Sandy (Roger) Graves in Missouri, Lisa (Ron) Graves of Decatur, Susan Smith of Fairmont and Kim (Steve) Greenwell in Florida; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Bob was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Pekin.  He worked as a fork lift operator for Superior Consolidated in Peoria for more than 15 years, last working in August 2008.  Bob enjoyed fishing, monster trucks and being outside.  His funeral will be at 1:30 pm Monday November 22 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev Dr Timothy J Najpaver will officiate. Morton IL-  Doris J Blair 83 of Morton died 5:45 am Wednesday November 17 2010 at her daughters home in Springfield.  She was born April 16 1927 in Peoria to Henry and Anna Hartman H ett.  She married William Blair Jr on June 23 1957 in Washington.  He preceded her in death on February 16 1984.  She also was preceded in death by one brother Willis Hett and one sister, Helen Breedlove.  Surviving are one daughter Shelley (Christopher) Mueller of Springfield; one son David (Shelly) Blair of Morton; one stepson, WIlliam Blair of Colorado Springs Colorado; three grandchildren, Lauren Mueller, Taylor Mueller and Alexis Blair; and one sister, Patricia Apke of Lincoln.  She received her B.S. degree in education from Carthage College. Doris began teachign in Steward Illinois in 1949.  She then moved to Morton where she taught English at the junior high school for several years.  The major portion of her career was spent at Morton High School where she helped establish the American Studies Program.  After retiring in 1987, she tutored at-risk students at the high school in a program administered by Illinois Central College.  She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Morton and the Tazewell County Retired Teachers Association.  Services will be at 10 am Monday November 22 2010 at Advent Lutheran Church in Morton, with the Rev. Dennis O'Brien officiating.  Visitation will be from 1 to 4 pm Sunday November 21 at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton, and from 9 to 9:45 am Monday at the church.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, West Central Regional office, 4234 N. Manito IL- Richard A Davis 55 of 301 Pllard Avenue Manito, died at 7:11 am Thursday November 18, 2010 at his residence. He was born February 28 1955 in Pekin, the son of Clarence "Lefty" and Jessie Lee Davis.  He married Marian "Dolly" Encanto on April 11 1988 in Peoria.  She survives.  Also surviving are his parents of Manito; one daughter Jessica Lee Davis of Manito; and one stepson, Danny (Lori) Ofria of Sand Diego California; one sister, Rozanna Davis of St. Louis; one brother, Curt (Tammy) Davis of Farmington; three grandchildren, Luke Ofria, Lance Ofria and Lyle Ofria, all of San Diego; and several nephews and nieces.  One sister, Kellie Davis, preceded him in death in 1965.  Richard was an iron worker for the last 29 years with Peoria Local Union 112.  He enjoyed fishing, target shooting and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Richard often studied the Bible and its teachings.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He loved history and visiting museums.  Richard was a very good husband, father and provider.  He was a very good friend to all who knew him.  Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday November 22 at Maas Funeral home in Manito.  The Rev. Shane Smith will officiate.  Internment will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito.  Following the committal service, military rites will be conducted by the Tazewell County Ceremonial Team and Hill-Palmer American Post 561 in Manito.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Pekin IL- Joseph T "Jack" Anderson 89 of Pekin, passed away at 8 am Thursday November 18 2010 at Timber Creek Rehabilitation Center in Pekin. He was born on January 08 1921 in Fox Arkansas to Joseph and Effie Branscum Ackerman.  He married Loyce Morris on August 03 1946 in Mountain View Arkansas, she survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Shelbie (Rick) Linton of Van Alstyne, Texas and Kathy Hagerdorn of Tremont; four grandchildren' nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lona Ackerman, james Ackerman and John Ackerman; two sisters Fay Hawkins and Ola Mae Cercoply; and several nieces and nephews.  He was peceded in death by his parents; one infant son; two brothers; and one daughter Jackie Stoecker. Jack served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and then later with the U.S. Air Force before being honorably discharged in 1951.  He worked for Corn Products Co for 30 years before retiring.  He was a member of Pekin Bible Church in Pekin.  A funeral service will be at 11 am Monday November 22 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Chuck Tate, Pastor, will officiate.  Burial will follow the service in Glendale Memorial Garden in Pekin.  Memorial contributions may be made to Timber Creek Rehabilitation Center or V.A. CHOBANIAN, MICHAEL
Pekin- Michael N Chobanian 83 of Pekin, passed away Friday November 19 2010 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin.  He was born October 13 1927 to John and Elizabeth Campbell Chobanian in Racine Wisconsin. He married Dolores J "Dolly" Kalenofske on May 29 1954 in Racine Wisconsin.  She preceded him in death on April 03 1997.  He also  is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James and Charles.  He is survived by his two children, Michael (Danette) Chobanian and John (Cheryl) Chobanian, both of Pekin, and Joan (Ann Montgomery) Chobanian of Taylorville. He also is survived by his grandson, Derrick (Jodi) Heflin, and great-granddaughter, Ella Heflin. Michael served in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He received his B.A. from Upper Iowa University in 1953 and his M.A. from Bradley University in 1964.  He was an English teacher at Pekin Community High School, retiring in june 1991.  He was an avid coin collector and a lover of history. Michael was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, where a funeral mass will be Tuesday November 23 at 10 am.  Father Tim Nolan will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Visitation will be Monday November 22 from 5 to 7 pm with a wake service at 7 pm at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Abts Mortuary.

East Peoria IL - Luella Jean Schultz 85 of Washington Illinois, formerly of East Peoria Illinois, died at 5:40 am Friday November 19 2010 at Washington Christian Village. Born on December 24 1924 in Peoria Illinois to George G and Elsie Cruikshank Maxwell Sr. she married William "Bill" C Schultz on April 19 1946 in Peoria Illinois. He preceded her in death on August 09 2002 in Peoria Illinois. Surviving are one nephew, Willie (Patricia) Maxwell of Temperance Michigan; two nieces, Jeri (David) Groves of Loveland Ohio, and Judy Maxwell of Washington Illinois; a friend and caretaker, David Stall; and many great-nieces and -nephews.  Jean was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, George G Maxwell Jr.  She worked at Pabst Brwery and then worked as an office manager for F. Meyer and Brother in Peoria for more than 30 years. Jean was always concerned for animals and always supported veterans organizations.  Services for jean will be at 11 am Monday November 22 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Lincoln IL- Gary Duane Maas 69 of Lincoln, passed away at 3 am Saturday November 20 2010 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.  Gary was born on Jly 21 1941 in Pekin, the son of Robert F and Arlene F Himmel Maas.  he married Brenda J Walraven on November 17 1963 at the United Brethren Church in Canton. She survives.  Also surving are his son, Brian (Chrystal) Maas of Lincoln' daughter-in-law Regina Maas of Stonington; one sister, Lavonne (Virgil) Dawson of Manito and two grandsons, Blake Maas and Marty maas.  He was preceded in death by two sons, Eric D Maas and an infant son.  Gary graduated from the Forman High School in 1959.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Manito. He retired from Graue Chevrolet after 34 years of service.  Funeral services for Mr. Maas will be on Tuesday November 23 at 1 pm at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln wiht Pastor Mark Kaley officiating.  Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Lincoln. Pekin IL- John D "Jack" King 80 of 414 Capri Street Pekin, passed away at 11:45 pm Saturday November 20 2010 at Pekin Hospital. Born April 03 1930 in Pekin to Arthur and Lydia Ritchie King, he married Charlene J Boldt on August 05 1951 in Pekin, she survives.  Also surviving are three daughters, Jody L (Bob) Burdick of Sioux Falls SD, Kathleen A (Brad Bucklin) Davis of Washington and Elizabeth A King of Pekin; one son, Charles A (Sue) King of Geneva; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one sister, Arta (Edwin "Bud") Brecher of Bonita Springs, FL.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James E King. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving during the Korean War.  Jack worked for CENTEL in Pekin for 40 years, retiring in April 1992.  He was a member of Empire Lodge 126, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of Illinois in Pekin.  Jack loved to fish and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His funeral will be at 10 am Wednesday November 24 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Rev. Edward D Dutton will officiate.  Private burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Pekin IL- Imah Dorene Woodworth 91 of 312 Winter Street in Pekin, passed away at 11:40 pm Saturday November 20 2010 at Pekin Hospital.  Born May 29 1919 in Beardstown to James Earl and Ada marie Suddeth Smith, she married E. Eugene Woodworth on january 29 1949 in Peoria. He died October 05 1990 in Pekin. Dorene was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Inez Redding and Margaret Goss; four sisters, Veda Stark, Zeda Perrilles, Inez Morgan and Marcella Bowman and one brother Louis Smith.  Serviving are one daughter, Judith Thomas of Pekin; seven grandchildren, Frank (Theresa) Goss, Jody (Richard) Yerly, Renee (Kendall) Downey, Dough (Holli) Goss, all of Pekin, Larry (Angie) Thomas Jr of Mobile Alabama, Veda (Andy) Dowell of Green Valley and Becky Wood  of Manito; 20 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Betty Lemon of Pekin, Rosalie Wubker of Virginia, Joan Staake of Arenzville and Delores Walters of peoria and three brothers, Richard Smith, James Smith and Tom Smith, all of Pekin. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Phyllis Smith of Peoria and a son-in-law Larry Redding of Pekin.  A homemaker, Dorene worked prior to her marriage, for the Wells-Lamont Glove factory in Beardstown and for Stuber & Kuck Co in Peoria. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1869 Ladies Auxiliary in Pekin. Dorene enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.  Her interests also included sewing and crocheting. She loved to have fun, especially at the family's gathering spot, the little house in Versailles.  Her funeral will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday November 24 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Nathan Best of Valley Chapel will officiate. Burial will be in maple Ridge Cemetery in mapleton. Pekin IL- Donald Frank Gianessi 78 of 1224 State Street, passed away at 12:21 am Monday November 22 2010 at his home.  Born January 15 1932 in Orchard Mines to Frank and Mary Suledea (Antonini) Gianessi, he married rose Marie Schleich on June 14 1952 in Wheaton.  She survives.  Also surviving are five sons, Daniel (Jerri Lynn) Gianessi, Joe (Stacy) Gianessi and Michael Gianessi, all of Pekin, Gary (Laura) Gianessi of new Albany Ohio, and David Gianessi of Weirton WV; four daughters, Diane Gianessi of South pekin, Donna Taylor, Brenda Gianessi and tina Gianessi, all of Pekin; 40 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.  His parents and one grandaughter Emily Ann Gianessi, preceded him in death.  He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. Don had worked as a machinist at Hiram Walker and Sons in Peoria for 25 years, retiring in 1981.  He also had worked as a machinist at the Journal Star, a meat packer at Callahan meat Packing Co. and a maintenance man at St. Augustine Manor all in Pekin.  He was involved in Cursillo and prison ministry. Don was an avid fisherman and hunter.  He also enjoyed gardening.  His funeral Mass will be at 10 am Saturday at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.  father james Pankiewicz will be the celebrant.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Peki, where the recitation of the rosary will be at 3:30 pm.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin, with military rites accorded by the United States Marine Corps and Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.  Memorial contributions may be made to Missionaries of Charity, 506 Hancock St., Peoria Illinois 61603-3804.

Pekin IL- Craig A Kenser aged 52 of Moline, formerly of Pekin, passed away Monday November 22 2010 at 12:30 pm at his residence.  He was born December 28 1957 in Peoria to Earl Jr and Geraldine (Perry) Kenser.  He was preceded in death by his g randparents; one sister Lora Kenser and one step brother Jim Pretty. Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Kenser of Pekin; his father and stepmother, Earl (Patricia Welton) Kenser of east Peoria; two brothers, Bryan (Dollie) Kenser of Mackinaw and Dennis (Lisa) Kenser of Canton; two sisters, Karen Kenser of Pekin and Lisa Stonebrunner of Pekin; one stepsister, Diane (Mike) Taylor of Lake Placid FL; three stepbrothers, David Pretty of Peoria Heights, Thomas (Linn) Pretty of Canton and Gregory (Letriana) Cantrell of East Peoria, several nieces and nephews; and his extended family in Moline.  Craig was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed competing in the Special Olympics.  Funeral services will be Wednesday November 24 2010 at 11 am at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.  The Rev. STONE, KEVIN
Pekin IL- Kevin L Stone 50 of Pekin, passed away peacefully at 6 pm Sunday November 21 20101 at his residence. Born September 04, 1960 in Pekin, he was the son of Charlotte Stone Bozarth.  Surviving him are his mother; one son, Danny Tinney of mesa Arizona; three brothers, Junior (Tracy) Bozarth and Donald Turnpaugh, both of Pekin, and John Turnpaugh of New Orleans LA; and two nieces, Emily Bozarth and Brittany Bozarth, both of Pekin.  Kevin was preceded by his wonderful grandparents, Stanley and Estelle Stone, who raisedh im.  A loving uncle, Kevin doted on his two nieces.  He also loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with his little brother, Junior.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lari, Jackie and Connie with Hospice Compassus, and to all his caregivers.  A celebration of life will take place at a later date. East Peoria IL- John B Janosky 35 of East Peoria passed away Tuesday November 23 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  He was born July 13 1975 in Pekin to Daniel and Vickie Stafford Janosky.  He is survived by his father and stepmother, Daniel (Peggy) Janosky of Jacksonville FL; mother, Vickie Stafford of Meadville PA; grandmother, Rose Janosky of Pekin; great grandmother Annie Rohr of Pekin; siblings, Lisa (Richard) Matheny of East Peoria, Danyel Janosky of Pekin, Angela Janosky of Fort Lewis WA, Jamie Janosky of Green Cove Springs, FL, Wesley Janosky of Jacksonville FL, Joshua (Jamie) Blasco of McKean PA. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  Cremation was accorded and a memorial service will be at 3 pm Saturday November 27 at Bible Missionary Church 400 W Muller Road, East Peira.  The Rev. Pekin IL- Najde "Mama" Besimi 72 of 1007 Oxford Pekin, passed away at 1:21 am Tuesday November 23 2010 at her home. Born July 05 1938 in Nizepole, Macedonia, to Beto and Zubis Salieva Akifovski, she married Bajram "Papa" Besimi on October 04 1956 in Nizepole, Macedonia.  He died September 07 2010 in Pekin.  She also was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.  Surviving are three daughters, Nezaet (Vait) Ferati of Huntley, Nurie (Azir) Dzabiri of Orland Park and Suzan Besimi of Pekin; one sin Dashmir (Michelle) Besimi of Pekin; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Jemo (Nazuke) Akifovski in Macedonia and Ismail (Nejmije) Akifovski of Monroe, CN; and one sister, Ferede (Raim) Salieva of Sidney Austrailia.  Since 1987 Mama had been the co-owner and operator of Koch Street Bar & Grill in Pekin.  Pereviously she had worked at the Chicago Alumni Design Co. Mama enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.  Her funeral will be noon Saturday November 27 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Iman Lulzim Jusaj will officiate. WOMELDORFF, JAMES
Pekin IL- James Franklin Womeldorff 58 of Pekin, passed away at 10:30 pm Monday November 22 2010 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  He was born November 22 1952 in Arkansas to Lewis and Wanda M Calhoun Womeldorff.  His parents preceded him in death. (Son, Christopher, also preceded him in death.) Surviving are his stepmother, Bessie Womeldorff of Mason City; two daughters, Karmin (Donald) Grant and Andrea (David) Kellum, both of Pekin; two sons, Kyle (Shani) Womeldorff and James C Womeldorff, both of Pekin; three stepdaughters, Tasha Estes and Candice Spoede, both of Pekin, and Kesia Estes of Peoria; and six grandchildren.  James worked as the head of maintenance for the UAW Highrise in Pekin for 22 years.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was of the Baptist faith..  His funeral will be at 2 pm Monday November 29 at Preston hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. D ale Schaeffer, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with the expenses.

Pekin IL- Eunice Loraine Monroe 75 of 2303 Broadway Apartment 10B3 Pekin, passed away at 9:02 pm Monday November 22 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  She was born March 01 1935 to George and Katie Vance Davis. She married Robert J Monroe on November 29 1951 in Pekin, later divorcing in 1975. Surviving are one son, Charles "Chuck" Monroe; one daughter Charlene Beaver; one brother, James "Chink" Davis; four grandchildren, Angel Cornwell of Marquette Heights, Heidi Cornwell, Erin Beaver and Ted Beaver, all of Pekin; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  Her parents, son Robert Junior Monroe and siblings Wilbur "Web", George and Dorothy, preceded her in death.  She was a retired cashier, working at Stop-N-Go convenience store in Pekin.  She spent much of her retirement doting on her grandkids.  Cremation was accorded and a memorial service will take place at a later date. Pekin IL- Dorothy Faye DeLong 86 of 219 Derby St Pekin, passed away at 1:39 pm Tuesday November 23 2010 at her home.  Born August 26 1924 in Pekin to Ben A Sr and Berniece Elizabeth Peoples Carrington, she married Wilbert N DeLong on june 05 1948 in Pekin.  He survives.  Also surviving are one daughter, Debbie S (Daniel) Turner of Pekin; two grandsons, Toby (Carol) Turner and Todd (Tina) Turner, both of Pekin; one granddaughter, Tammy J (Kory) Mitchell of Manito; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.  Dorothy was a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin and its Council of Catholic Women.  She also had been a part of Cursillo.  Dorothy worked for Standard Brands in Pekin, working eight years in the wet yeast department.  She enjoyed ministering to the Hallmark House Nursing Center residents with Bible studies.  She also enjoyed ballroom dancing and cross stitch needlework.  Her funeral Mass will be at 10 am Monday November 29 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. The Rev. James Pankiewicz will be the celebrant. Burial wll be in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.  Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm Sunday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, where recitation of the Rosary will be at 3 pm.  Memorial contributions mayb e made to her church at 303 S. ILLUZZI, LILLIAN
Pekin IL- Lillian Borsch Illuzzi 94 of 1504 10th Street Pekin, passed away at 8:50 pm Tuesday November 23 2010 at her home.  Born May 21 1916 in Pekin to Walter and Hulda Kirsch Borsch, she married Guy Illuzzi on September 20 1946 in Pekin.  He died October 13 1994 in Pekin. Surviving are one son, Michael (Gail) Illuzzi of Peoria; one daughter, Rose M (Bob) Bigelow of Cody, WY; two stepsons, Charles Illuzzi of Dalton PA and Guy T (Dee) Illuzzi of Anderson IN; two grandsons, Michael Illuzzi of Peira and paul (Liza) Illuzzi of Chicago; one brother, Bill (Lucy) Borsch of Pekin;a nd several nieces and nephews.  She also was perceded in death by her parents; one brother Walter; and two sisters, Evalyn and Cora Louise.   She was a graduate of Pekin Community High School and had worked for the Selective Service Board, Caterpillar Inc, the Illinois Veteran's Commisssion, C.B. Smith School in Pekin and the Tazewell Conty Circuit Clerks office. She entered the United States Marine Corps in November 1943 and was honorably discharged as staff sergeant in 1946.  She then joined the William Schaefer American Legion Post 44 Ladies Auxilliary in Pekin.  She was a tutor for the  YWCA Literacy program for two years. Lillian was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin, where she taught Sunday school for many years and was a member of the Bethlehem Society and the choir.  She was always very thankful for her loving family and friends. They were such a blessing and helped her in so many ways.  Her funeral will be at 11 am Monday November 29 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin.  The Rev. Mark Miller will officiate.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  The Rev. Mark Miller will officiate. Washington Co IL- Edward W Teubel 76 of Washington IL, died at 7:55 pm Thursday November 25 2010 at Apostolic Christian Restmore in Morton IL. Born on December 25 1933 in Morton to John and Rose Schambach Teubel, he married Louise Huette on January 20 1963 in Morton.  She survives.  Also surviving are one daughter, Marie (Thomas) Bertolon of Peoria AZ; two sons, Mark (Marti) Teubel and Keith (Jill) Teubel, both of Washington IL; one sister, Doris (Walter) Christ of Elmwood IL; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Teubel of Dunlap IL and Wilma Teubel of Bloomfield IA and six grandchildren, Seth, Noah, Sadie, Anna, Isaac and Zachary.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and David.  Ed owned and operated Teubel Welding until 1981 and then worked for Nestle/Libby in Morton, retiring in 1998.  He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Washington; where he enjoyed serving as the volunteer maintenance man for more than 30 years.  Ed also volunteered at OSF St. Clare in Washington.  He was always willing and ready to volunteer his help for anyone in need.  Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday November 29 2010 at the Apostolic Christian Church in Washington.  The church ministers will officiate. Morton IL- Eueline Loyise Badgerow 84 of Morton, died at 10:25 am Wednesday November 24 2010 at OSF St Francis Medican Center in Peoria.  Eueline was born on April 05 1926 in Rector Arkansas to John Elvis and Bertha Lee Hickman Staten.  She married Donald L Badgerow Sr on November 12 1949. He died on October 04 1999.  Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Donald L Badgerow Jr.; and five brothers and sisters.  Surviving are two daughters, Wyona E Adams of Morton and Sue (Bert) Urish of Green Valley; eight grandchildren, April Anderson and Christina Young, both of Delavan, John and Michelle Hale  of Morton, Aaron (Amber) Martin of Delavan, Donald L Badgerow III and Cindy (Butch) Harper, both of Peoria, and Derek (Erica) Badgerow of Delavan; 19 great-grandchildren and one brother, Charles (Ada Mae) Staten of Canton.  Eulene was a former member of the Kingston Mines Methodist Church and Delavan VFW Auxilliary.  Cremation was accorded. Memorial services will be at 1 pm Saturday December 04 at Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin. BAILEY, RUSSELL
Pekin IL- Russell B "Russ" Bailey 90 of Pekin, passed away at 4:15 pm Wednesday November 24 2010 at Hallmark Home Nursing Center in Pekin.  He was formerly of Mapleton. Born November 08 1920 in Sand Prairie Township, Tazewell County, he was the son of Loma Elva Watson.  He married Dorothy Arlene Harper on October 22 1941 in Peoria.  She died April 06 2006 in Pekin. He also was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.  Surviving are two sons, Allen R (Linda) Bailey of Creve Coeur and Arlen E (Kim) Bailey of Germantown Hills; four grandsons, Scott A (Kim) Bailey and Matthew A Bailey, both of Creve Coeur, Christopher R Bailey of north Pekin and Cory M (Michelle) Bailey of Mackinaw; two step-granddaughters, Jamie and Ashley Morgan, both of Germantown Hills; and one great-granddaughter, Alyson R Bailey; and one brother, Glen Bernath of Groveland. Russ was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran, serving in the European theater. He attained the rank of technical sergeant and served as a mechanic in the glider corps. Russ worked for American Distilling Co. in Pekin for 39 years, where he was stationary fireman firing boilers. He retired in 1981.  He then worked for Pabst for six years. Russ also farmed all of his life, mostly in Hollis Township in Peoria County.  Russ had a love for his dogs.  His graveside funeral will be at 2 pm Monday November 30 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.  Memorial contributions may be made to Tazewell Animal Protective Society, 100 TAPS Lane, Pekin IL 61554.

FORNOFF, CLARICE
Pekin IL- Clarice Marie Fornoff 84 of Pekin, passed away at 5:57 am Friday November 26 2010 at Pekin Manor in Pekin.  She was born February 14 1926 in Havana to Lloyd and Anna Scheuring Kreiling.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marianne Kreiling and one brother, Kenneth Kreiling.  Surviving are her children, Robert (Debra) of Pekin, Randall (Lawana) of Denver CO, David (Dianne) of Bloomington and Debra Shaw of Peoria.  She also is survived by seven grandchildren, tree great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Pat Kreiling of Sun Lakes AZ.  Clarice worked at Herget Bank in Pekin and was a beauty operator for several years during her early working life before becoming a housewife and mother.  She later worked at the Pekin Public Schools District 108 central kitchen and in the Dean's office at Pekin Community High School for 14 years, retiring in 1991.  Clarice loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family and friends.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pekin where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School Teacher. She also was a member of the Ladies Aid Society.  Her funeral will be at 11 am Tuesday November 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pekin.  The Rev. Dr. Rodger Abatie will officiate.  Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.  Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 am Tuesday at his church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Chuch, 700 S. Pekin IL- Mary Katherine Heberer 72 of 1404 Lincoln Street Pekin, passed away at 1:34 am Thursday November 25, 2010 in the emergency room at Pekin Hospital.  Born April 20 1938 in Peoria to Stanley and Henrietta Albers Blackburn, she married Gerald Heberer on April 21 1956 in Pekin. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Julie (Tim) Lewis of Pekin nad Kathy (Donnie) Buckner of Lake Stevens, WA; one son Dave (Jody) Heberer of manito; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Willis of Pekin, Seth and Logan Heberer of Manito,a nd NOrth Buckner of Lake Stevens; and one sister, mavis Brown of Morton.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Chuck Heberer; five brothers; and three sisters. Katherine last worked for Morton Villa Ltd. for 11 years, retiring in 2008.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.  Katerine was a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.  Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Creve Coeur IL- Nancy L Derrick 73 of Creve Coeur IL formerly of Washington and East Peoria IL passed away at 9:58 am Friday, November 26 2010 at her home with her family by her side.  She was born on june 10 1937 in peoria IL to John Roy and Dorothy King Boster.  She married robert M Derrick Feb 16 1958 in Peoria IL.  She survives.  Also surviving are one son, Nick (Angie) Derrick of Washington Illinois; one daughter, Sandy Pearce of Chillicothe Illinois; four grandsons, Mike, Chris, Nick and Nate; two great-grand-daughters, Jordynn and Jayda; one brother, Jim (Sue) Boster of Germantown Hills ILlinois and three sisters, Betty Cage and Shirley Rybolt, both of Creve Coeur Illinois and Florence (Jack) Hall of Mauston Wisconsin.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Patricia Reynolds; and one brother, Robert Boster. Nancy was an active member of the Ladies Auxilliary for VFW Post 814 where she served as teh president for the last nine years.  She was an avid volunteer for the Germantown PTO Bingo for 12 years. SHe was also a member of the East Peoria Community Church of God. Her bigest gift was her ability to care and help others.  She loved being active with the VFW and enjoying her life with her husband of 52 years.  Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday December 01 2010, at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. The Rev. Curt Rowden will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday November 30 2010 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.  Memorials may be made to Methodist Hospice.

ERBY, KEITH
Bartonville IL- Keith Calton Erby; 74 of Bartonville, passed away at 1:57 pm Thursday November 25 2010 at Methodist Medical Center, surrounded by family after a short courageous battle with leukemia. He was born July 09 1936 in peoria to Charles and jessie (Hopper) Erby.  He married Connie Schwartz on April 14 1973, in Fort Madison Iowa. She survives.  Also surviving is one son, Brian (Cachet) Erby of Bartonville, two daughters, Lisa (Kevin) Cheatham of Bartonville and Lori (Mike) Button of Trivoli; six grandchildren, Kyle and Cody Cheatham, Michael Button, Ismael Rodriguez, and Ana and Alivia Erby; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Gerstenberger. He was a Navy veteran, serving aboard the destroyer USS Cascade from 1954 to 1957.  He was also a member of the Limestone American Legion Post 979.  Keith worked as a carpenter for Local 183 of Peoria, last working for Phil Shindler & Sons of Bartonville before retiring in 1998.  He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved Pabst Blue Ribbon.  A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Monday November 29, 2010 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel Deacon Lou Tomlionovich will officate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Sunday November 28 2010 at the chapel. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery. East Peoria IL- Robert O Habben 89 of 500 Centennial Drive East Peoria, passed away at 3:40 am Thursday November 25 2010 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.  He was born November 12 1921 in Washington IL to Onno and Leona Sencenbaugh Habben. He married Dorothy R Woodworth on may 31 1946, in Peoria. She passed away on October 21 2002 in peoria.  He was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph, one brother and two sisters.  He is survived by one son, Douglas (Elizabeth) Habben of Loveland CO, and four grandchildren. Robert worked in sales at Springfield Electric Supply in East Peoria, retiring in 1987.  He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and a volunteer at Proctor Hospital.  Robert loved his grandchildren and his dogs.  He was a member of First English Lutheran Church 725 E Forrest Hill Peoria, where a memorial service wll be held  at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 01 2010 with Pastor James Lillie officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the services at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private burial of ashes will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Manito IL- Crystal L (Bear) Justice, 47 years of age and of Manito, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday November 25 2010 at 2:55 am at her parent's home in Peoria IL. She lost her courageous battle with cancer.  She was born March 19 1963 in Peoria IL to Robert and Vivian Halsted Bear. She married Jeffrey C Justice on October 27 1984, in Pekin IL.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Zelma (Toots) Halstead and Wilbur and Francis Bear, two aunts, and two uncles. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Jeffrey C Justice of manito IL; her parents, Robert and Vivian Halstead Bear of peoria IL, one brother, Doug (Amy) Bear, one nephew, Dominick Bear, and two nieces, Krysta and Alyssa Bear, all of Macomb IL; one aunt Lulu Bell Hill of Peoria IL; and several cousins.  She worked for Artistic Flower Shop in Pekin. She was very handy with crafts and loved doing them and making flower arrangements.  Crystal was a very loving person and tried to help everyone.  She will be greatly missed by all.  Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm Sunday November 28 2010 at Woolsey Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.  The memorial service will be at 5 pm at the funeral home following the visitation.  Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of cremains will be at a later date. Pekin IL- Delores Lofgren 81 of Pekin passed away at 4:32 pm Wednesday November 24 2010 at Sunset Manor in Canton IL.  She was born April 13 1929 in Peru IL to Edward and Lena (Welner) Falk.  She married Charles W Cusac in Peru IL in 1949.  He died in 1972 in Germantown Hills. She later married Les Lofgren in 1975 in Germantown Hills.  He died in 1981 in Peoria.  Surviving are her two daughters, Diane (Michael) Creek of Washington IL and Crystal (Bob) Hackney of Manito IL; four grandchildren, Michael Jr (Leanne) Creek of O'Fallon MO, Brad Creek of Peora, Lisa (Jeff) Anderson of Peoria and Tim Herrin of Manito; and four great-grandchildren. Delores was a homemaker who loved to stay active.  She enjoyed many outside activities such as gardening, tennis and golf.  She also enjoyed art and was an accomplished, talented artist. Private funeral services will be held at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel.  The Rev. jack Thompson will officiate.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in metamora IL. Memorials may be made to Illinois School for the Deaf in jacksonville IL or to the charity of the donor's choice.

McCORMICK, CHARLES
Morton IL- Charles E McCormick 104, passed away at 12:10 pm on Tuesday November 23 2010 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton IL where he had been a resident for over two years.  He previously was a resident of Brandonwood Retirement Center in Morton IL for several years.  He was born in Chicago on October 10 1906. He married Lucille  Biehl in 1929 and moved to their home in Northbrook IL where he lived until 2004, then moving to Morton IL. He survvied by his two sons, Charles E McCormick Jr of San Ramon CA and Gerald E McCormick of Scottsdale AZ; six grandchildren, garett J Black of Aurora IL, Doris A Black of Morton IL, Margery A Allen of Joliet IL, Craig C Black of Morton IL, Charles E McCormick of Albany NY and Kristen L Pettersen of Fremont California; three great-grandchildren, Heather Allen of Joliet IL, Nicholas Black of Morton IL and Thomas Allen of Joliet IL and his son-in-law, Harold Black of Morton IL.  Mr McCormick was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy Schlomer McCormick, who were killed when their automobile rolled down an embankment in Yosemite National Park in 1924.  Young Charlie was thrown clear of their car with only minor injuries.  His wife Lucille, passeda way in 1986 and his daughter, Constance M Black, on May 17 2010.  He was vice-president at Chicago Cycle Supply Company and traveled to Europe to purchase bicycles for resale by his company. They were his first trips abroad.  After his retirement in 1971, he began traveling the world.  There will be no service or visitation.  He will be buried next to his wife in All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines IL.  Davis Mortuary in Tremont is in charge of arrangements.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

SMALL, LAURA
Washington IL- Laura E Small 93 formerly of Washington, passed away at 12:37 pm on Wednesday November 24 2010 at Snyder Village in metamora.  Laura was born on October 31 1917 in Worth Township to Peter and Elizabeth Fandel Wernsman.  She married James C Small on November 30 1939 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Washington. Jim died on may 11 2002 in Peoria. Among those surviving are one daughter, Nancy (Thomas) McClernon of Spirit Lake Iowa and Bluffton S.C.; two sons, James "Jim" Small III of Peoria and Michael (June) Small of Washington; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Laura was also preceded in death by one son, Steven; her twin sister, Anna Lohnes; two other sisters, Betty Jones and Mildred Whitaker and one brother Elmer Wernsman. For several years, Laura and her husband Jim, owned and operated Jim's Drive-Inn in Washington.  She also had worked in teh cafeteria at WCHS for several years.  Laura was a lifelong member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Washington and one of the parish's first families. She kept very active in the church as well as in the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Pat's. She will always be remembered for being a great cook, and she loved to bake, sew, and also quilt.  Laura really enjoyed her friends and the good tiems she shared during her three years living at ManorCare at Riverview in East peoria. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Saturday November 27, at St. patrick's Catholic Church, with Father Joseph Donton officiating.  Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm today at mason-White Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church.  Memorials may be made to either Methodist Hospice or Snyder Village.
