JEFFERSON FIRST GRADERS PLANT MOON SHOT MARIGOLDS
Students at Jefferson School, Pekin, are shown as the set out marigold plants in preparation for the first Marigold Festival, which begins Aug 24.  Shown with their plot of moon shot marigolds, are first grade pupils in Miss Nancy Stahls class.  From Left are:  Desiree Burrell, David Harms, Brad Williams, Sonja Black, Shari Hyatt and Debbie Cunningham.  Each class in the grade school participated in planting the marigolds.
