Mildred Guilliams
EAST PEORIA - Mildred R. Guilliams, 52, of 221 Briarbrook died at
3:16 a.m. Monday, March 16, 1998, at her home.
She was born Oct. 12, 1945, in Sullivan, Ind., to Robert and Esther
Walters Everett.
Surviving are one daughter, Stacey Mandrell of East Peoria; two
sons, Steve and Scott, both of the state of Tennessee; eight brothers, David,
Arthur, Michael, Timothy and Terry Everett, all of Peoria, Robert Everett of the
state of Oregon, Larry Everett of Colorado and Delbert
Everett of Indiana; six sisters, Carol Hudson of Georgia, Alice Toland, Sherry
Elizonda, Diana Alvarez and Karen Skinner, all of Peoria, and
Irma Harris of Indiana; and six grandchildren.
She worked in the accounting department at the Continental Regency
in Peoria. She formerly owned King Henry's, the Boat House and the Bourbon
Room, all in Peoria.
There will be no service. Cremation will be accorded. Arrangements
are by Remmert Funeral Home, East Peoria.
Memorials may be made to any charity.

Death of an Old Lady
Mrs. Christian Geiselman Called Tuesday
Leaves a Husband and Six Children to Mourn Her Death
An Old Settler Large Funeral on Thursday
Sarah Catherine Geiselman was born in Augusta county, Virginia, Sept. 24,
1831, and died at her home in Washington at 8:20 a. m. Tuesday, March 11. She
came to Illinois in an early day with her parents, Henry and Betsey Grove. The
family settled near Versailles and the deceased spent the most of her life in
this neighborhood. She was married to Christian Geiselman Nov. 20, 1858. To them
were born six children, two sons, and four daughters. All the children except
Frank, who lives in Kearney, Neb. Reside in and near Washington.
The deceased leaves her aged companion, six children, Frank and Henry
Geiselman, Mrs. Mattie Humphrey, Mrs. Ellen King, Mrs. Emma King and Mrs. Maggie
Brown, fourteen grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives.
Mrs. Geiselman became a Christian while yet a girl. She has been an earnest
member of the Christian Church from the beginning of her womanhood. She has been
a sufferer from asthma for several years and for three or four years has been
afflicted with other aliments. During the present winter her afflictions were
much worse until death became her friend. In all her suffering she was patient
and kind to all who tried to assist her in any way. Her earthly pilgrimage is
ended and she is at rest.

Grove, Mr. And Mrs. Fred Geiselman of Secor, Frank Geiselman of Kearney, Neb.

Thomas Lee Gehret, 41, of Omak, WA died at 11:04 p.m. riday, June 4, 1999, at Mid Valley Hospital in Omak. He was formerly of the Hopedale and Minier area.
He was born July 14, 1957, in Bloomington, to Melvin Gene and Myrtle Elizabeth Gehret.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and his twin brother, Timothy Lynn Gehret. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Glen and Myrtle Jenkins of Riverside, WA; three brothers, William Gehret of Riverside, WA, Ronald (Mike) Gehret of Omak, WA, and David Gehret of Havana; two sisters, Gail Gerber of Muskego, WS, and Sandi Davis of Delavan; 14 nieces and nephews; and nine great-nieces and nephews.Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held at a later date. He will be buried alongside his twin brother in Humingbird Grove, located in the Lower Cascade Mountains in Washington State. Memorial may be made to the John Keets Foundation for Aids Research.

EAST PEORIA- Gerald A. "Bud" GIEBELHAUSEN,75, died at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Dec. 31, 1922, in Peoria to Adolph and Gertrude SCHOEDEL GIEBELHAUSEN, he married Beverly Jean LEE on Sept. 13, 1947, in Edwardsville.
She died in February 1990 in Peoria.He was a World War II Army Veteran. A member of Teamsters Local 627, he worked for Siegle-Hunt Lumber Co. in Peoria, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev.Vernon Bettermann will officiate.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria and one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.BACK Tazewell County, IL Genealogy Trails

Submitted by: TammiServices for William E. Garwood, 72, of 116 W. Forest, East Peoria, were held Nov. 13 in Peoria.
The Rev. Edwin Jones officiated and burial was in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
Mr. Garwood, a former machine operator in Bldg. KK at Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 18 1/2 years, died Nov. 11 at St. Francis Hospital where he was admitted Nov. 8. A son of Jesse and Amanda Garwood, he was born March 26, 1899 in Hillsboro, Ill. and married (Living) at Minot, N.D. Dec. 23, 1921. A resident of the East Peoria address 26 years and of the area since 1921, he was a member of the Little Church in the Valley in East Peoria. Surviving are his widow; five daughters; one son, William E. Garwood Jr. of Wittenburg, Wis., 25 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sons and two sisters.
Alice R. Groen
Alice Rose Greene Groen, 79, of Pekin, died Thursday; April 27, 2000, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Jan. 4, 1921, in Camden, to Glenn A. and Esther R. (Rang) Greene. She married Albert L. Groen on June 20, 1953, in Pekin.
He survives of Marietta, Ga. Also surviving are two daughters, Karen R. Erlanger of St. Louis, Mo., and Susan K. (and Jay) Gouliard of Marietta, Ga.; three grandchildren; and one brother, Vernon F. Greene of Belleville. One daughter, Sally Lynn Groen, preceded her in death.She was a 1938 graduate of Rushville High School and had attended Illinois Central College in East Peoria.
She was the executive administrative assistant for 19 years at Jefferson Bank in Peoria, retiring April 30, 1987.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin and past president of the Pekin Woman’s Club.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a memorial service in Marietta, Ga. Burial of the cremated remains will be held at a later
date in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Noel-Henderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
