Special Award For 'Doc'
Jimmy "Doc" Lee, Pekin's Veteran head trainer, displays special plaque he was awarded Saturday night as one of the 11 "Friends of basket ball" inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame at special ceremonies on the Illinois State University campus.
Former Pekin cage standouts Dave Golden and Fred Miller were inducted into the Hall along with their coach of 1964 and 1967
state champion Chinks, Dawdy Hawkins.
