Alma J. Tucker  Mrs. Alma J. Tucker, 91, of Marion, formerly of Anna, died at 7:40 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2006, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. She was born May 8, 1915 in Saratoga.
She was the daughter of John A. and Christina Knupp Harris. She married Kenneth E. Tucker January 14, 1933; he preceded her in death on March 4, 1977.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and she was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Eddleman of Marion; two grandchildren, Kevin Eddleman of Chicago, and Kimberly Eddleman of Johnston City; one great-grandchild, Lacy Wagner; one sister, Flossie (Harris) Duty and husband Marion of Dongola, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cecile Dillow and Lily Henderson, and two brothers Lloyd and Dennis Harris.
Services for Mrs. Alma J. Tucker will be at 1 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Dwayne Sheumaker officiating. Interment will be in Anna City Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. |
