STATE OF ILLINOIS, } sct. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF COUNTY OF UNION } ILLINOIS - TO ALL WHOM THESE
PRESENTS SHALL COME: - GREETING.
KNOW YEF, That License and Permission are hereby given to any person authorized by law to solemnize the rites of
Matrimony, to join together as man and wife Mr. Daniel Bender and Miss Cathorine Norrix according to the usual
custom of the laws of Illinois, and for so doing this shall be your sufficient warrant, and you are required to
return this license to me within thirty days from the date of the solemnization of the same, under a penalty of
one hundred dollars.
Given under my hand and the seal of said county court hereto affixed at office in Jonesboro, the 23rd day of April
