CIVIL WAR MONUMENT IN JACKSONVILLE

Union County Illinois Genealogy Trails

Transcribed and submitted by Darrel Dexter

A monument at Jacksonville is to have the names of all Civil War soldiers from that county subscribed on it.  A partial list published in the Jacksonville Courier includes the names of  James and Philip Cruse, who originally hailed from Jonesboro.
