Notes:  There is a marker with the top broken off between the two Bishop stones.  These three stones are the same style and very close together.  Possibly another Bishop.  A small marker that was found sunk in the ground had the initials, W. J. M.  It is in Row 4.  It possibly may be a footstone for William Musgrave.
This cemetery may have also been known as Stokes or Standard Cemetery in different time periods.
In earlier years Mt. Pleasant Cemetery was known as Cox Cemetery.  The cemetery is on land that was owned by Mary Cox.  A newspaper obit from 1888 for Thomas Boswell states that he was buried at Cox cemetery.  His wife was Pearcy Cox, a daughter of Mary Cox.  Another daughter of Mary Cox was Clarissa, who married James Bishop.
A list of Mackey burials from a family history book, called the "Doughtie Book" includes several Mackey names that are said to be buried at Cox cemetery:
MACKEY, Abraham Thomas Madison, s/o James L. Mackey, d. June 3, 1862, age 20.
MACKEY, Addison, s/o John C. Mackey, d. 1889.
MACKEY, Almira Bell, infant eldest child of John C. Mackey, d. 1870.
MACKEY, Infant twins, children of William Dixon Duran Mackey, (no dates given)
MACKEY, Jennet Emma Virginia Bell, w/o Thomas C. Mackey, d. Jan 5, 1865, age 73.
MACKEY, John Peace, d. Feb 8, 1873, age 43.
MACKEY, Lillie W., d/o John C., d. 1900.
