Note;
1. The marriage is not listed in the Union Co marriage book. The following marriages are found in the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index under Price, Calvin
PRICE, CALVIN WOOLF, MARY (NOT RECORDED) UNION County 10/09/1819
PRICE, CALVIN CONOWAY, MARY (CONNOWAY) UNION County 05/20/1829
PRICE, CALVIN BERRY, EMILY ANN MENARD County 06/13/1839
It appears that George Woolf, Dunker Minister, either failed to file marriage records for several marriages in 1819 or these reports were lost. The marriages discovered to date are:
Mary Woolf to Calvin Price [see above]
Mary Daugherty to John Crowl (Crowell) [no date]
CROWL, JOHN (NOT RECORDED) DOUGHERTY, MARGARET Union County 09/16/1819
Mary Daugherty's mother was Elizabeth Woolf, probable sister of George Woolf. Mary and Margaret Daugherty are probably the same person.
2. Mary Woolf Price is probably the daughter of George Woolf and may be the same person who married Eli Ebert [no record located] and died in Adams Co Sept 29, 1877. This Mary Ebert is buried in the Kimmons Cemetery in Adams County near George Wolfe. [His children used the Wolfe spelling and he is buried as Wolfe].
It is possible, but less likely, that Mary Woolf Price's father is Jacob Woolf, George's brother. Jacob died in Union Co in 1823. Jacob Woolf's identified children include Peter [married Margaret James Oct 18, 1820 Union Co], George [married Rua Faggart Sept 18, 1831 Union Co] and Catherine [married Micajah Littleton Aug 21, 1824 Union Co]
