THELMA ALLEN RAY THELMA RAY, 100, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2005 in Union County Hospital in Anna. Thelma was born Feb. 9, 1905 in Alexander County, the daughter of Joseph Cleveland and Minne Hartline Allen. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro for many years. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Helen Ury of Jonesboro and Jean and Elbert Lee Hileman of Mounds; a daughter-in-law, Connie Ray of Anna; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Jackie Ray of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in St. John's Cemetery, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
