CLARENCE W. TOLER



    Clarence W. Toler, son of Monroe and Flora Toler, was born March 21, 1906, in Union County, and died Sunday, Jan. 1, 1989, at his home in Jonesboro at the age of 82 years.
    Mr. Toler was a retired carpenter and a former member of the Carpenters Local No. 2010 of
Anna.  He was also a member of the Lockard Chapel Baptist Church.
    Mr. Toler married Esta Watson on
Aug. 3, 1931, in Jonesboro.  She preceded him in death on March 3, 1985.
    Survivors include three daughters, Mary Lou Wright of Anna, Vera Mae Cook of Sandwich and Beverly Ann Wooden of Bradford; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Oley Toler of Anna; one half sister, Elsie Simmerman of Jonesboro; one step brother, Ralph Houseman of Vienna; and one stepsister, Sophronia Gibbs of Jonesboro; other relatives and friends.
    Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 1:30 p.m. at Norris & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Ford officiating.  Interment was in Anna Cemetery.
    Norris & Son funeral Home in Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.
