DOCK PERRY TOLER
![]() Dongola, IL--Dock Perry Toler, 92, of Dongola died Monday (May 27, 1996) at 12:22 p.m. at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. He was born June 2, 1903 in Union County, Ill., the son of Sam and Lillian (Smitty) Toler. He was married to Ethel Turner on Dec. 20, 1924, and she preceded him in death on April 27, 1989. He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Dongola, and was retired from the Illinois Central Railroad. He is survived by five children, Joe Toler of Galatia, Ill., Barbara Casey of Dongola, Bonnie Gibbs of Herod, Ill., Carolyn Modglin of Ullin and Jerry Toler of Peoria. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, including Carol Ann Corzine of Dongola, Bradley Toler of Jonesboro and Susan McRaven of Jonesboro. In addition, he has 20 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Dock Perry Toler will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, with Rev. Lucien Bozarth officiating. Interment will be made in the Dongola American Legion Cemetery.
