ETHEL TOLER



Ethel Toler, 82, of Dongola, died Thursday, April 27, 1989, at her home.
    She was born May 6, 1906, in Union County, the daughter of Charles and Mary Sutton Turner.
    She married Dock P. Toler on Dec 10, 1924.
    Mrs. Toler was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dongola.
    She is survived by her husband, Dock P. Toler of Dongola; three daughters, Barbara Casey and Bonnie Wright, both of Dongola, and Carolyn Modglin of Ullin; two sons, Joe Toler of Galatia and Jerry Toler of Peoria; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Turner of Dongola; one sister, Alene Treece of Anna; and other relatives.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Donald, in infancy and by seven brothers and a grandson.
    Funeral services for Ethel Toler were Saturday, April 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola with the Rev. Lucien Bozarth officiating.  Interment was in Dongola American Legion Cemetery.
    Crain Funeral home in Dongola was in charge of arrangements.
