GLENN E. "GENE' TOLER
![]() Glenn E. “Gene” Toler, 48, of Nashville, TN and formerly of Jonesboro, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 1979 at Donelson Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born Oct. 10, 1930 in Jonesboro, the son of Dennis and Bess Ferrell Toler. He married Iris Jean Robertson Jan. 31, 1956 in Hernando, MS. He is survived by his widow, Iris Jean, of Nashville, two sons, Keith and Kent Toler, both of Nashville, his mother Bess Toler of Jonesboro; two sisters, Bonnie Inman of Jonesboro and Mary Belcher of Springfield, TN; nieces and nephews. He was a retired truck driver for the Roadway Truck Lines, a member of Teamsters Local 480 in Nashville, a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 VFW in Anna. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, 1979 at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Hurstle Laxton officiating. Internment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
